摘要： A control apparatus of an electric vehicle for effectively limiting the operation of the vehicle when it is determined that a driver of the electric vehicle is not sitting in the seat and an accelerator opening of the electric vehicle is in a position corresponding to a minimum value. A motor driving enablement circuit generates a motor driving command which selectively limits operation of the electric vehicle in accordance with these determinations. In addition, when a state in which the driver is not occupying the seat continues for a period of time exceeding a predetermined value, a motor halt controller issues a motor halt command for halting a motor of the electric vehicle. Based on the motor driving enablement command and the motor halt command, a power supply controller controls the supply of power to the motor of the electric vehicle.

摘要： A vehicle power transmission apparatus is provided for maintaining a constant power output when driving a vehicle regardless of the change in the frictional force of the belt in a belt type stepless speed change device. A belt type stepless speed change device is used with a vehicle driving, prime motor on board a vehicle. The apparatus provides a flat characteristic segment covering at least a part of the power output characteristic relative to the revolutions of the vehicle driving prime motor. The apparatus allows the vehicle to be driven by a constant power output within the segment of the flat power output characteristic regardless of changes in the frictional force of the belt in the belt type stepless speed change device.

摘要： A battery for an electrically powered vehicle includes a vehicle body having a battery unit operatively connected to the vehicle body for supplying electricity to the electrically powered vehicle. The battery unit is of an elongated shape in outer configuration and is located under the vehicle body with the length direction extending along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. A battery unit for an electric motor vehicle includes a battery assembly including a plurality of elongated batteries extending in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle and being disposed adjacent to one another with a small gap being provided therebetween. A battery box is provided for accommodating the battery assembly. The battery box includes a front portion, side portions and a rear portion. Ventilation holes are provided in the front portion of the battery box for introducing cool air at positions corresponding to the gap spaces between adjacent individual batteries. At least one exhaust hole is formed in at least one of the side portions and the rear portion of the battery box.

摘要： An electrically powered motor-scooter includes a scooter body having a step floor, a seat, a body cover mounted under the seat, and a storage compartment located below the seat. A battery case is mounted under the step floor which has at least one opening therein which is open to the surrounding air for allowing the flow of air therethrough. A rear compartment extends below and rearwardly of the storage compartment and extends rearwardly of the battery case. The storage compartment forms an upper wall of the rear compartment, and the body cover forms sidewalls of the rear compartment. A portion of the rear compartment is open to the surrounding air. A fan is mounted in a forward portion of the rear compartment for producing a movement of cooling air between the rear compartment and the battery case. The cooling air passes through the rear compartment and the opening in the battery case. A duct is connected between the fan and the battery case which forms a passage for the cooling air to pass therethrough. A control apparatus is mounted in the rear compartment rearwardly of the fan for controlling a drive motor of the electrically powered motor-scooter.

摘要： A method of carrying out ink Jet printing includes the steps of: introducing a cloth on which ink Jet printing is to be carried out onto a cloth feeding drum having a plurality of support pins for holding the cloth on the cloth feeding drum; and moving the support pins in the radial direction of the cloth feeding drum at least when the cloth is introduced onto the cloth feeding drum. A cloth feeding drum for use in ink jet printing includes a cloth feeding drum having a plurality of support pins for holding a cloth on which ink jet printing is to be carried out on the cloth feeding drum; and a mechanism provided within the cloth feeding drum for moving the support pins in the radial direction of the cloth feeding drum at least when the cloth is introduced onto the cloth feeding drum. The cloth feeding drum may further include a mechanism for moving the support pins in the axial direction of the cloth feeding drum so as to apply a tension to the cloth held by the support pins. These mechanisms are actuated at least when the cloth is introduced onto the cloth feeding drum and after the cloth is introduced onto the cloth feeding drum, respectively.
