    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal material for stably operating an agitating device comprising an agitating shaft which performs swing motion.SOLUTION: A seal material 10 is applied to an agitating device 1 comprising an agitating shaft 5 which performs swing motion, bent and deformed in accordance with the swing motion of the agitating shaft 5. The seal material 10 comprises an elastic part 20 which is produced cylindrical from an elastic material and through which the agitating shaft 5 is passed. The elastic part 20 includes an expanded portion 21 which radially protrudes from an axially intermediate portion, tubular portions 22A, 22B provided at both axial sides of the expanded portion 21, and folded portions 23A, 23B which are folded to integrally continue the tubular portions 22A, 22B to the expanded portion 21. The elastic part 20 includes first reinforcing fibers 41 for axially reinforcing the elastic part 20, and at least the folded portions 23A, 23B include second reinforcing fibers 42 for circumferentially reinforcing the elastic part 20.
