摘要： A computer having an estimating capability estimates, where one data file is shared by a plurality of application programs, application programs to be executed when a given data file is designated, thereby simplifying user operations. The computer includes a storage device for storing history of computer operations performed by a user; a display device for displaying indications such as icons; an input device such as a mouse for selectively designating any of the icons displayed on the display device; and a control device for executing an application program when an icon corresponding to that application program is designated by the input device. In operation, the application program to be executed upon designation of a data file is altered by the control device in accordance with history of computer operations stored in the storage device. In that case, the icon shown to correspond with the data file is replaced by another icon corresponding to the altered application program to thereby notify the user that the application program started from the data file is now altered.

摘要： Numerous fine projections (20) are formed interspersed on a plate-shape member (18), and the neutral plane (S) of each fine projection (20) is inclined at an inclination angle α to the normal line (O) such that the contact center (Q) does not overlap with the base part in the plane direction of the surface (22), so when a pressing load (F) is applied, the moment acting on the fine projections (20) is large, and the fine projections (20) easily deform to bend in the respective inclination direction. By this means, the tactile softness (cushion properties) are improved by preventing the fine projections (20) from undergoing simple compression deformation in the axial direction, and stick-slip due to friction between the fine projections (20) and the surface (22) is avoided, making it possible to obtain a smooth and stable tactile softness.

The axial gap type motor/generator is attached integrally to the second shaft part. 摘要： A data transmission-reception system is disclosed wherein, after the radio wave condition becomes good, backup processing is performed immediately without performing confirmation of the memory capacity of a portable radio terminal thereby to allow efficient transmission-reception of data such as an electronic mail. Here, the fact that the radio wave condition exhibits that reception of the radio wave is possible is used as a trigger to perform reception of transfer data without performing discrimination of whether the transfer data can be stored into a memory of the portable telephone terminal. Then, the transfer data are not stored into the portable telephone terminal but stored directly into a memory of the electronic mail terminal.
