    • A fuel cell (A1) includes a cell stack (B) and a casing (210) for housing the cell stack (B), and is supplied with two reactant gases flowing separately from each other. The cell stack (B) includes a plurality of solid electrolyte fuel cell units (200) stacked on one another with inter-unit spaces provided therebetween. One of the reactant gases is supplied to the inter-unit spaces and used for power generation. The casing (210) includes a peripheral wall (222) surrounding the cell stack (B). The peripheral wall (222) is provided with at least one gas inlet opening (223) for introducing the one of the reactant gases into the inter-unit spaces and at least one gas outlet opening (224) for discharging the introduced reactant gas, wherein total opening width dimension of the gas inlet opening (223) is greater than total opening width dimension of the gas outlet opening (224).

    • A fuel cell of the present invention includes a stack structure composed by stacking a plurality of solid oxide fuel cell units with current collectors. Each of the fuel cell unit includes: a cell plate which holds at least one cell and has a gas introduction hole for one of fuel gas and air in a center portion thereof; and a separator plate which has a gas introduction hole for the one of the fuel gas and the air in a center portion thereof and makes an outer peripheral edge thereof entirely bonded to an outer peripheral edge of the cell plate. The fuel cell further includes a casing which houses the stack structure, includes a gas introduction portion and a gas discharge portion, and introduces the other of the fuel gas and the air thereinto from the gas introduction portion and flows the other gas to the gas discharge portion. The fuel cell further includes a gas flow-regulating member provided in a gap between the casing and the stack structure in order to flow the other gas to the gas discharge portion through the current collectors located between the fuel cell units.

    • According to a method of manufacturing a foamed polypropylene resin sheet of this invention, a composition comprising as a resin component a mixture of 80 to 20 wt % of a crystalline propylene-ethylene block copolymer containing 20 wt % or less of ethylene and having a melt index (MI) of 2 or less and 20 to 80 wt % of a crystalline propylene-ethylene block or random copolymer containing 5 wt % or less of ethylene and having an MI of 6 to 20 or a polypropylene homopolymer having an MI of 6 to 20 is used. A pair of molding roll dies is horizontally arranged at a point separated from the center of an apex of an extrusion foaming die when a foamed sheet is to be extrusion-molded. A distance between the center of the roll and the apex of a base lip is set to fall within a range of (R.sup.2 +25).sup.1/2 to (R.sup.2 +144).sup.1/2 where R is a radius of the molding roll die. The composition is extrusion-molded into a foamed sheet without collapsing while a fluid is supplied to the interiors of the rolls so that a surface temperature of the foamed sheet passing between the molding rolls is set at 105.degree. C. or less. The extrusion-molded foamed sheet is cooled thereafter.
