摘要： Disclosed is a developing roller to be employed in a developing device which is incorporated in electrophotographic apparatus such as printers, duplicators, receivers for facsimiles or the like, and in which toner carried on the surface of the roller being or not being kept in contact with a photoreceptor is transferred at least to the photoreceptor. The developing roller is characterized in that an elastic conductive layer is formed around the conductive shaft of the roller, that the outer surface of the elastic conductive layer is covered with a surface layer, and that the surface layer is formed from a resin composition of which the contact angle with a drop of a liquid consisting essentially of a component similar to the resin component constituting the toner to be used in the developing device is not smaller than 35.degree.. In the developing device, toner filming occurs little around the developing roller, and the initial density of the images formed is good. In addition, toner cracking occurs little in the developing device.

摘要： A developing apparatus of a toner delivery system by contacting a developer roller with an electrostatic latent image-carrying member eliminates a protective layer in the conventional concept from a surface of the developing roller, and provides a covering layer which is formed by adhering particles of toner or a material having electrical characteristics and mechanical characteristics equal to those of the toner on the surface of the developing roller. Those particles are adhered utilizing a surface tackiness of an elastomer layer itself which is a structural element of the developing roller.

The elastic layer (12) has a JIS A hardness of not greater than 50 degrees. At least the outermost layer of the one or more resin layers (13) contains fine particles and the surface roughness (Rz) of the outermost layer is regulated to be within the range of 3 to 15 &mgr;m. A resin composition containing an —NHCO— bound or a resin composition containing —ROCO2— and —SiOSi— repeating units and an —NHCO— bond can be used for the outermost layer.

摘要： A loudspeaker of high sound quality is achieved by improving rigidity of a material used for a diaphragm, a dust cap and a sub-cone. The diaphragm, the dust cap and the sub-cone of the loudspeaker are made of a paper beaten with the material containing bamboo fibers obtained from a bamboo tree aged one year or older, of which the fibers are finely beaten to an extent of micro-fibrillated form. The diaphragm and the dust cap are also made with a beaten paper containing at least 2 wt % of “A fibers” having stems of no greater than 30 μm in diameter, and surfaces of the stems are fibrillated into shaggy branches having diameters of 1 μm or less.

Therefore, even if a large input is applied and the damper oscillates with a large amplitude, a resin layer provided on the surface of the damper base material is not cracked due to partial interface peeling. Thus, the damper follows such a large amplitude and realizes high input-resistance. This loudspeaker damper material is obtained by impregnating a material with thermosetting resin including 2 to 20 wt % of flexibility imparting agent and heat-curing thereof.
