    • A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material includes a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion which comprises silver halide grains consisting of at least 50 mol % of silver chloride and contains at least one of the compounds represented by formulas [I] to [III]: ##STR1## wherein Z represents alkyl (the number of carbon atoms is 1 to 18), aryl (the number of carbon atom is 6 to 18), or heterocyclic,Y represents an atom group required for forming heterocyclic or aryl (the number of carbon atoms of the aryl is 6 to 18),M represents metal cation, organic cation, or hydrogen atom, andn represents an integer from 2 to 10.A silver halide color photographic light-sensitve material includes a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion which comprises silver grains consisting of at least 50 mol % of a chloride and chemically sensitized in the presence of at least one of the compounds represented by formulas [I] to [III].A method of developing a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, characterized in that said emulsion layer contains a silver halide emulsion which comprises silver halide grains consisting of at least 50 mol % of silver chloride and contains at least one of the compounds represented by formulas [I] to [III], and that the method comprises the steps of: color-developing the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material in the presence of a color coupler; and desilverizing the silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material.

    • The present invention provides an economical method for the processing of silver halide color photographic materials comprising fixing or bleach-fixing of the material followed by the washing thereof with a small amount of a washing replenisher. The present method is characterized in that the silver halide color photographic material to be processed contains at least one cyan dye-forming coupler of the following formula (I) or (II) and that the amount of the washing replenisher in the washing step falls within the range of 30 to 50 times of the amount of the processing solution carried over from a previous bath based on the unit area of the photographic material being processed, ##STR1## wherein, R.sub.1 represents --CONR.sub.5 R.sub.6, --NHCOR.sub.5, --NHCOOR.sub.7, --NHSO.sub.2 R.sub.7, --NHCONR.sub.5 R.sub.6 or --NHSO.sub.2 NR.sub.5 R.sub.6 ;R.sub.2 represents a substituent on the naphthol ring;m is an integer of 0 to 3;R.sub.3 represents a mono-valent organic group;R.sub.4 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group;X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released by the coupling reaction with an oxidized aromatic primary amine developing agent;R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 each represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group;R.sub.7 represents an aliphatic group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group;when m is a plural number in the formula, R.sub.2 's may be the same or different or may be bonded to each other to form a ring; andR.sub.2 and R.sub.3, or R.sub.3 and X may be bonded to each other to form a ring.According to the present method, the thermal discoloration of cyan dyes may be prevented and the stability with lapse of time thereof may be improved, and the amount of the washing solution to be used in the washing step may be noticeably reduced.

    • An improved method of developing silver halide photographic light-sensitive materials comprising at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a support is disclosed. In the improvement, said silver halide emulsion layer contains core/shell type silver halide grains having a shell thickness of 25 to 150 .ANG. wherein the surface of the core is subjected to chemical sensitization treatment and the surface of the shell is not subjected to chemical sensitization, and a developing solution contains a solvent for silver halide. It is possible to carry out spectral sensitization without causing a reduction in intrinsic sensitivity and to provide high-speed silver halide light-sensitive materials which are excellent in anti-fading property of latent images and excellent in stabilization with the passage of time using the above-described improved method.

    • The image signal superimposing portion generates an image signal for displaying images in a superimposed manner by using at least three layers, i.e., first to third layers. A main moving image is displayed in the first layer. A still image generated by an OSD generating portion is displayed in the second layer. A sub moving image having a display size smaller than that of the main moving image is displayed accessorily in the third layer. The first layer is displayed below the second layer, and the second layer is displayed below the third layer. The image signal superimposing portion superimposes these three layers of images so as to generate a single hierarchical image signal. When a hiding instruction receiving portion receives a hiding instruction, the hiding portion generates an opaque color image in the second layer by using the OSD generating portion so that the main moving image displayed on a layer below an OSD layer becomes invisible.
