摘要： Methods are provided that detect cognitive impairment including mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer disease by using a protein or its partial peptide that differs in presence or absence. Novel biomarkers are also provided for cognitive impairment and non-psychiatric disease, as well as methods for detecting cognitive impairment using such biomarkers. Specifically, a biomarker for diagnosis is provided that comprises a protein fragment or peptide of not less than 5 amino acid residues arising from at least one protein or peptide selected from the group of proteins consisting of an amino acid sequence expressed by SEQ ID NO: 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 18, or 20 and selected from the group of partial peptide in these proteins consisting of an amino acid sequence expressed by SEQ ID NO: 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, or 21.

摘要： A foldable bathtub assembly accommodated in a space under a bed includes: a base arranged on a floor surface to be movable between a first place under the bed and a second place on the side of the bed; a bathtub supporting frame mounted on the base to allow movement of the bathtub supporting frame in a vertical direction between an upper position and a lower position; and a bathtub made of watertight flexible cloth or plastic sheet, wherein the bathtub is fixed on its upper periphery to and suspended from the bathtub supporting frame. When the bathtub is folded and the bathtub supporting frame is in its lower position, the whole height of the bathtub assembly is sufficiently reduced to allow accommodation of the assembly in the space under the bed. When the base of the bathtub assembly is pulled out to the second place on the side of the bed and the bathtub supporting frame is vertically moved to its upper position, the bathtub assembly forms a bathtub having a sufficient depth.

摘要： A detecting chip (2) comprising a body (5) and a frame (4) both detachable from each other. A large number of projecting pin electrodes (10) are arranged in a matrix inside the body (5). Oligonucleotide consisting of different gene sequences is fixed to the pin electrode (10). A common electrode is so disposed in a recess (8) in a frame (4) as to be out of contact with the pin electrodes (10). A DNA sample is placed in the recess (8). By applying a voltage between the common electrode and the pin electrodes (10), a current is detected to detect a hybridized two-strand DNA, thus analyzing a gene DNA.
