摘要： An organic electroluminescence device is provided which is capable of providing light emission lasting time that can be practically used, that is, of improving its light emission life. A light emitting body used in the organic electroluminescence device is made up of a lower electrode layer, a light emitting layer and a transparent electrode layer being stacked in order on a substrate. As a material for the transparent electrode layer, a substance “In2-xSnxO3-y” being a mixture of an oxide of indium with tin is employed as its chief component. A material having hygroscopicity is formed adjacent to the transparent electrode layer. Light emitting element portion made up of the electrode and light emitting material layer is the electroluminescence device.

摘要： An organic light-emitting device is provided, which increases the proportion of available light as much as possible and which produces higher brightness with less input power. The light-emitting device comprises: (a) a base having a surface; (b) a first electrode and a second electrode formed on the surface of the base; the first and second electrodes being located to be opposite to each other; (c) a light-emitting material layer located between the first and second electrodes; the light-emitting material layer having a first part and a second part; the first part being inclined with respect to the surface of the base at an inclination angle within a range from 45° to 90°; the second part being approximately parallel to the surface of the base; and (d) a carrier-blocking layer formed between the first electrode and the second part of the light-emitting material layer; the carrier-blocking layer having a function of blocking carriers emitted from the first electrode into the light-emitting material layer. The first part of the light-emitting material layer forms as a light-emitting region while the second part of the light-omitting material layer forms a non-light-emitting region. The output light is emitted from the light-emitting material layer by way of the base or the second electrode.
