    • [PROBLEMS] The present invention provides a novel cleaner having bacteria-proof, fungi-proof and algae-proof effects, which is added to a reaction thermostat using water as medium in scientific apparatus, particularly a thermostatic water bath in an automatic analyzer.[SOUTLIN] A cleaner for a thermostatic water bath, which comprises a quaternary ammonium salt as shown by the general formula [1] described below and/or a preservative agent having amphoteric surface activity, and a surface active agent, wherein R1 to R4 independently represent an alkyl group, provided that at least one among R1 to R4 is an alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, and at least one among them is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and X− represents an anion derived from a carboxylic acid having two or more carbon atoms; and a cleaning method of a thermostatic water bath, wherein the cleaner is added to a thermostatic water bath.

    • In order to prevent degradation of an operational mode and a fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine at the time when raising the temperature of a catalyst poisoned NOx absorbent for removing the accumulated sulfur compounds, an exhaust purifying apparatus is provided in an exhaust pipe 22 connected to an internal combustion engine 11. The exhaust purifying apparatus comprises an air-fuel ratio controlling device for controlling the air-fuel ratio, and a fuel feeder for feeding fuel upstream of said nitrogen oxide absorbent; a temperature raising device for raising the temperature of the nitrogen oxide absorbent by feeding fuel by means of said fuel feeder, when the absorbing capability of the nitrogen oxide absorbent is catalyst poisoned by the accumulated sulfur compounds; and a restoring device for restoring the nitrogen oxide absorbing capability of said nitrogen oxide absorbent by controlling the air-fuel ratio so as to be made richer than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio by said air-fuel ratio controlling device.

    • A burst receiving circuit and a control method thereof whose unstable state of an output is able to be avoided without bringing about the decrease of the receiving level sensitivity and the deterioration of the output duty are provided. An offset which corresponds to the size of a receiving signal is given to the receiving signal and the offset is made to “0 ” at the time when the burst signal is received and the burst signal is taken out by shaping the receiving signal given offset based on a predetermined threshold value. And the offset is continued to be “0” until predetermined time has passed after finishing the burst signal. The offset is kept in “0” during the time from the start of the burst signal until predetermined time has passed after the finishing of the burst signal or until the finishing of the burst signal informed by the outside.
