The reflection member includes a first reflection member and a second reflection member, and the first reflection member and the second reflection member are located in positions opposed to each other across a reflection optical path of light reflected by the original document on the document table.

摘要： According to one embodiment, an image scanning apparatus includes a document glass, a substrate, a first semiconductor light emitting element, a second semiconductor light emitting element, a light guiding section, and a light receiving section. The substrate is provided below and obliquely opposed to the document glass. The first semiconductor light emitting element is mounted on a first surface of the substrate opposed to the document glass and emits light to an original document via the document glass. The second semiconductor light emitting element is mounted on a second surface on the opposite side of the first surface and emits light. 摘要： An image forming apparatus is provided which can form an image of excellent picture quality in which a streak does not appear at a specified position in a main scanning direction. A reading control apparatus includes an illuminator to irradiate an illumination light to a document of a reading object, a CCD sensor that includes a plurality of light-receiving elements arranged in one line to receive the illumination light reflected by the document, and sequentially outputs electric signals stored in the light-receiving elements, a read control part that acquires, with respect to the electric signals of each line generated by the CCD sensor, electric signals by reading the electric signals starting from an electric signal corresponding to a position outside one end, in a main scanning direction, which is one of both ends of the document of the reading target in the main scanning direction and is the end where an electric signal is outputted from the CCD sensor at an earlier timing, a pre-processing part to perform a specified pre-process on the electric signals acquired by the read control part, and an image output control part that removes, with respect to the electric signals of each line, electric signals corresponding to a range outside the one end from the electric signals processed by the pre-processing part, acquires electric signals starting from the electric signal corresponding to the one end, and outputs only the acquired electric signals to outside.

摘要： An image-reading device, in which the 1-bit signals a CCD line sensor has generated from the light applied from an illumination lamp and reflected from an original are shading-corrected, thereby forming image data. Before scanning the original, a black reference signal, a white reference signal at a level higher than that of the black reference level, and three intermediate reference signals are generated and stored into memories. During the scanning of the original, a selector selects two of the reference signals in accordance with the level of each signal output by the CCD line sensor, and the difference between the signal output by the sensor and the black reference signal is shading-corrected, by using the two reference signals selected by the selector. The signal output by the CCD line sensor can therefore made linearly proportional to the intensity of the input light, even if the CCD line sensor has no linear input-output characteristic or even if the photoelectric elements of the sensor have different input-output characteristics.

摘要： A light beam position detecting device detects the passage positions of a plurality of light beams for scanning the surface of a photosensitive drum. The light beam position detecting device has a sensor pattern for generating an output which is continuously changed in a wide range with a variation in the passage position of the light beam in a sub-scanning direction perpendicular to a main scanning direction of the light beam. The sensor pattern precisely detects the relative scanning position of the light beam in a wide range. The passage positions of the plurality of light beams for scanning the surface of the photosensitive drum are controlled to a preset position based on the output of the sensor pattern.
