    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing and reinforcing a damaged site in a weld part in a steel structure under service by welding, to which a varied load is repeatedly applied, in a relatively simple method.
      SOLUTION: In the method, the site to be repaired and reinforced is welded from one side regardless of whether or not cracks occure in the welded part in a state that a varied load is repeatedly applied on the site to be repaired the change in the displacement of an opening is not more than 0.5 mm. After the welding, cracks are removed by chipping from the backside of the welded site to be repaired and reinforced. After the confirmation of the removal of the cracks, the site subjected to chipping is subjected to full penetration welding.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reinforcing a through-hole formed in a beam by which the cost is reduced and fitting to the through-hole formed in a beam member is facilitated.
      SOLUTION: A ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 having an outer peripheral surface with an angle of inclination of 40°to 50° is cut out from a steel plate by gas cutting, laser cutting, plasma cutting or the like. An inclined surface 5 of the ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 is brought into contact with an inner surface of the through-hole formed in the beam member, and the part between a larger-diameter-side peripheral surface of the ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 and a surface of a web 3 of the beam member are temporarily welded at a plurality of positions in the peripheral direction. The inclined surface 5 of the ring-shaped reinforcing member 4 temporarily fixed to the web 3 of the beam member and the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole are welded and fixed by one-surface partial penetration welding.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of suppressing occurrence of a fatigue crack in a weld zone between a deck plate and a U-shaped rib of a steel plate floor at low cost.SOLUTION: An abutting portion between a deck plate 11 and a U-shaped rib 12 of a steel plate floor 1 is welded from both an outer surface side 13 and an inner surface side 14 of the U-shaped rib to form an outer weld zone 13 and an inner weld zone 14. Since a larger weld area is achieved compared to a conventional steel plate floor having only the outer weld zone, stress in the weld zones 13 and 14 is dispersed to suppress occurrence of a fatigue crack. Compared to manufacturing of a conventional steel plate floor, increase in man-power results only from a weld work at the inner surface side, causing no steep rise in construction costs. The inner surface side is welded by a dedicated welding device equipped with a weld torch on a carriage, which travels in a closed space inside the rib having a closed section.

In the case the measured welding current is higher than the previously set standard current width, the feeding rate of the welding wires (6) is reduced, and, in the case the measured welding current is lower than the previously set standard current width, each welding torch (3) is independently controlled so that the feeding rate of the welding wires (6) is increased.
