    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the repairing work of a main pole member of an existing steel tower safely and at favorable good workability, when repair becomes necessary due to the corrosion or the like of the main pole member.
      SOLUTION: According to a method of partially repairing the main pole member 1 of the existing hollow steel pipe tower, in order to partially repair a minimum area inclusive of a damaged portion 11 where repair is required due to the corrosion or the like, reaction support pieces 12, 13 are secured to upper and lower locations of the damaged portion 11 of the main pole member 1 by welding, and upper and lower band fittings 14, 15 of a jig 18 are abutted on the upper and lower support pieces 12, 13 in a manner of sandwiching the damaged portion 11. Then, part of bolts of a web member and bolts of the main pole member 1 are loosened, jacks are raised, and the main pole member 1 near the damaged portion is partially cut away. Furthermore, a new member 25 having flanges 19, 26 and ribs 20 secured to upper and lower edges thereof by welding the flanges 19, 26, and the ribs 20 in a site is inserted into a cut-away portion, the bolts are inserted into the flanges 19, 26, and the jacks are lowered down.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of ground area to be needed and to solve shortage of strength of a steel tower for a power-transmission line from the lower part to the upper part of the tower after piling against received power by wind pressure.SOLUTION: A reinforcing construction method for piling steel tower for power-transmission line includes: a column building step in which a plurality of column components are connected in the vertical direction so that a first reinforcement column 22 and a second reinforcement column 23 arranged in a direction crossing the direction of extending power-transmission line 102 are built in a quadrangle area formed by adjoining main columns 12 which are connected; a connection step between reinforcement columns in which both the reinforcement columns 22, 23 are connected to a plurality of parts in a height direction; a connection step between the first reinforcement column and the main column in which two main columns 12 disposed near the first reinforcement column 22 and that column 22 are connected to a plurality of parts in a height direction by a second connecting member 28; and a connection step between the second reinforcement column and the main column in which two main columns 12 disposed near the second reinforcement column 23 and that column 23 are connected to a plurality of parts in a height direction by a third connecting member 30.
