    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embarkment reinforcement structure preventing collapse of a slope of embarkment.
      SOLUTION: An embarkment 3 is provided on a ground 13. The embarkment has a substantially isosceles trapezoidal sectional shape, and a slope 7a is provided on a side surface thereof. An end part 5a is provided at the lower end of the slope 7a. A pile foundation 15a is built within the ground 13, and the pile foundation 15a includes a wall body 9a built to contact with the end part 5a. An oblique wall 11a is provided on the slope 7a, and the lower end of the oblique wall 1a is connected with the wall body 9a. Namely, since the embarkment 3 is enclosed by the oblique wall 11a and the wall body 9a, the slope 7a is never collapsed sideward even at the time of earthquake or heavy rain.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof structure which can be constructed without depending on the strength of a floor slab and without restrictions on a plot.
      SOLUTION: In construction of the soundproof structure, firstly, supports 9a, 9c are erected on the ground 4, to which L-shaped members 11a, 11c are attached, respectively. Then, ends of the L-shaped members 11a, 11c are connected to piers, respectively, and a soundproof wall 13a is arranged between the L-shaped members 11a, 11c such that its ends are inserted into grooves formed in side surfaces of the L-shaped members 11a, 11c, respectively. Thus the supports 9a, 9c, the L-shaped members 11a, 11c, and the soundproof wall 13a cooperatively constitute the soundproof structure 1a. The soundproof structure 1a is not borne on the floor slab 5, and therefore it does not depend on the strength of the same. Further the soundproof structure is located inside the plot of a bridge 3, and therefore it can be constructed without restrictions of the plot.
