    • PURPOSE:To permit the driving of large-size piles in a wide range even by small-sized temporary platform by a method in which a girder is mounted on the platform a temporary pier and the platform are combined, and loads on a casing pipe are supported by the temporary pier and the platform. CONSTITUTION:A temporary pier 17 is set on the seabed in close proximity to a small-sized platform 1 set on the seabed where pile is to be driven, a movable girder 7 is mount on the platform 1, and a turning stand 10 supporting a movable pile-driving tower 13 is provided to the upside of the girder 7. The girder 7 is projected on the side of the platform 1, the leg of a girder receiving jack 9 attached to the girder 7 is extended and fixed to the temporary pier 17, and the turning stand 10 is also extened. Then, loads on the casing pipe are supported by the platform 1 and the temproary pier 17, and the casing pipe is erected.

    • PURPOSE: To enable the use of a shallow dry dock, by a method wherein a term of works can be shortened through the use of a precast member, and the precast member is installed after a platform body is set afloat.
      CONSTITUTION: Concrete is cast to form a square base concrete layer 14a, a precast concrete wall member 14b, and an inner bottom wall 14c on a dry dock bottom. A side wall 16 of a storage tank, a structure wall 18, and an outer peripheral wall 11a are then built to form an underwater structure part. The structure part is set afloat from a dry dock to install a concrete cover 17, a cover 19 of a sand ballast chamber 21, pillars 12, and a deck 13, which are all formed of a precast, to complete a body of an off-shore platform 10. The platform 10 is tugged by a tug boat to an installation position, and is caused to seat on the bottom of the sea through the filling of a storage tank 15 with water. The sand ballast chamber 21 is then filled with sand to complete the installation of the platform 10.
