    • An optical fiber connector includes an optical fiber cable including two optical fibers; and a connector plug connected to opposite ends of the optical fiber cable for electrical connection to an electronic device. The connector plug includes a shell, a photodiode, a laser diode; and an electrical connector for electrical connection to an electronic device. The photodiode, the laser diode and the electrical connector are housed in the metallic shell, the photodiode is optically coupled to a distal end of one corresponding optical fiber and electrically coupled to the electrical connector, the laser diode optically is coupled to a distal end of the other optical fiber and electrically coupled to the electrical connector.

A refractive index of the first material is different from that of the second material. An optical axis of the first plastic lens is in alignment with an optical axis of the second plastic lens.

    • An apparatus for hot embossing lithography includes a press mold (20), a substrate (10), a first heating device (40), a second heating device (40′), and a vacuum chamber (32). The press mold has a main body (21) and a number of relief structures (22) extending therefrom. The substrate (10′) is configured for holding a polymer thin film (30) to be pressed. The first heating device (40) is adapted for heating the press mold, while the second heating device (40′) is adapted for heating the polymer thin film on the substrate. The vacuum chamber (32) has an opening (33) through which a vapor (34) can be introduced into the chamber, in order to lower a surface energy of the press mold. The press mold and the substrate are accommodated in the vacuum chamber, and the press mold is aligned with the polymer thin film on the substrate.

    • A surface light source (4) includes a light guide plate (2) and a light source (5). The light guide plate has an incident surface (21) and an emitting surface (22). The light source is adjacent to the incident surface of the light guide plate for radiating light beams into the light guide plate through the incident surface. The emitting surface defines a large number of prisms (221), in which the distance (L) separating each two adjacent prisms changes according to an intensity of the light beams received from the light source. In particular, the pitch between two prisms decreases with increasing distance away from the light source. By the cooperation of the prisms and the light source, the surface light source has uniform illumination over the whole emitting surface.

The housing has a base with the light emitting module being mounted thereon. The transparent light cover covers the housing. The present light emitting module and light source device can improve the brightness of the light, and increase the utilization efficiency of light.
