    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assay of PEG-modified human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) or its derivative by preparing a monoclonal antibody reacting with G-CSF or its derivative and PEG-modified G-CSF or its derivative and using the prepared.
      SOLUTION: The monoclonal antibody reacting with a PEG-modified G-CSF or its derivative ND28 is selected by immunizing nonhuman animal with G-CSF, its derivative ND28 or partial peptide of ND28 and examining reactivity of the obtained monoclonal antibody to PEG-modified G-CSF or its derivative ND28. The method for assaying PEG-modified G-CSF or its derivative comprises an immunoassay using an antibody specifically reacting with antibody reacting with G-CSF or its derivative and PEG-modified G-CSF or its derivative and a monoclonal antibody reacting with G-CSF or its derivative and unreacting with PEG-modified G-CSF or its derivative.
