    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image with a simple operation by eliminating missing image from an original image or unintended image rotation by an operator even in the case of an original of an infinite form size by reading the original in one or more read sizes selected from choices including a fixed form size in an indefinite form size processing mode where an original of an indefinite size is processed. SOLUTION: A control means CPU receives an output of original size information from original size sensors S1, S2-S5 and T1, T2, T4, T5 as original size sensing means. The control means CPU discriminates whether an original has a fixed form size or an indefinite form size. That is, the CPU has a lookup table LUT to decide a read size of the original and decides a read size through the collation with received original size information. Or the CPU receives a condition with respect to the reading size of the original directly from an operation section OP by an operator to decide the read size. The image forming device reads the original by the decided read size.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device for a film unit with a lens suitable in assemblability and for mass production. SOLUTION: This device has a light-emitting part equipped with a stroboscope holding body 31, which has an aperture part on a front surface side and is provided with a housing part inside and where electrode receiving groove parts 31g whose front surface side is opened are formed at both side wall parts, a reflector 32 equipped with a reflection surface 32a for reflecting strobe light, a slit groove 32e and an electrode exposing aperture part 32b, and housed in the housing part 31b from the front surface side of the holding body 31, a light- emitting tube 33 equipped with an electrode bar 33a, attached in the housing part 31a of the holding body 31 from the front surface side of the reflector 32 in a state where the electrode bar 33a faces to the aperture part 32b through the groove 32e and engaging the electrode bar 33a with the electrode receiving part 31g, and a transmission window part 35 attached to the aperture part 31a of the holding body 31 in a state where it covers the front of the tube 33.
