The textile further comprises a first region completely overlapping the designated position, and abutted by a second region, wherein the first region has a higher stiffness than the second region. As a result, the electronic textile can be manufactured in a more reliable way. Furthermore, the first region may have a predetermined shape to enhance the functionality of the textile in the electronic textile.

摘要： The invention relates to a textile carrier comprising a first textile member having a first electrode, and a second member having a second electrode. The first electrode has a direct electrically conductive contact to the second electrode. According to the invention, the direct electrically conductive contact is fixed by a welded connection between the first textile member and the second member. The textile carrier according to the invention can be manufactured by a method that comprises a heating step wherein an area of the first textile member comprising the first electrode is heated to form a liquefied portion of a yarn. The method further comprises a contacting step wherein the area of the first textile member is contacted to the second member to form a direct electrically conductive connection between the first electrode and the second electrode, followed by a fixing step wherein the liquefied portion is solidified to fix the electrically conductive connection between the first electrode and the second electrode. The textile carrier according to the invention can be used to electrically address an electronic component in an electronic textile, particularly in applications that require large-area electronic textiles.

摘要： An LED module is described with a base 10 made out of a heat conducting material. An LED element (32) is arranged in a cavity (11) of the base. A collimator reflector (70) is formed by reflective surfaces (24, 64, 66a). Three of these reflective surfaces (66a, 66b, 64) are provided on a plastic insert (60) received in the cavity (11). A further reflective surface (24) is provided on the base (10) itself. This surface (24) has a straight border line (50). The collimator reflector (70) is arranged to reflect light from the LED (32) so that a cut-off (72) is formed by the straight border line (50). By thus integrating the cut-off, as the most critical optical element, into the base (10) itself, high accuracy is achieved.
