摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine, by which a starting shaft can be contracted by removing an ancillary facility such as a main pushing jack and a machine body is compacted, while providing the temporary pipe jacking method of the shield machine, by which the curved execution of works can be facilitated and smoothed. SOLUTION: Various equipments 13, 14 or the like installed into each split drum section 52-54 are unitized and shield-machine length is shortened and the shield machine can be bent in small curvature. When the split drum sections 52-54 are pipe-jacked from the shaft 22 to a ground, the preceding split drum section 52 carried into the shaft is penetrated into soil by the thrust of a jack 55 for temporary pipe jacking for the split drum section 52, the next split drum section 53 is carried in and connected at the rear end of the split drum section 52 and pipe-jacked by the jack 55 for the temporary pipe jacking for the split drum section 53, and the process is repeated successively. Construction cost by the construction of the shaft can be reduced while the whole term of works can be shortened.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying system in tunnel, which permits to run car, bodies easily and smoothly by mechanically and automatically controlling the direction of the car bodies with a simple construction when running on a curved floor in the tunnel. SOLUTION: This carrying system runs using a gutter portion (4) formed on a running floor surface (3) of running wheels (23) inside the tunnel (1), and this carrying system (20) inside the tunnel (1) carries materials, excavated soils and others; and guide rollers (25) more than two rotate along the side wall surface of the gutter portion (4) and are installed to an axle shaft portion (22) installed in a freely rotatable manner around a vertical axis through supporting members (24) in a deviated manner at least to either one in front or rear of the carrying direction. When the carrying system (20) runs on a gutter portion (4) bent to a curved shape, the direction of the wheels (23) is automatically corrected so as to align with the running direction of the guide roller (25), and the guide roller (25) and the wheel (23) rotate in the same direction each other. Following the movement of the guide roller (25), the wheel (23) is automatically steered in the carrying direction along the gutter portion (4).

SOLUTION: A front end of a cylindrical casing is pivoted on one end of a segment end expanding/contracting cylinder 21 which expands/contracts in a radial direction of a tunnel, and a back end of the cylindrical casing is supported on a shield body 1 so as to be freely swingable over a prescribed distance in the radial direction of the tunnel via a trunnion coupling part. A segment end holding cylinder 23 inside the cylindrical casing 22 is extended to make free ends of the opposed segments S held from above and below by a holding member 24. Consequently, an end of an upper segment, which falls for contraction in an inside direction of the tunnel due to self-weight, can be expanded in the radial direction of the tunnel, and an end of the other upper segment, which falls in an outside direction of the tunnel due to self-weight, can be made smaller in diameter in the radial direction of the tunnel.

The amount of frozen soil is reduced by eliminating substantially the skin plate gap of the joint shields with each other.
