    • PURPOSE:To obtain an antenna system not losing the beautiful appearance of a building by providing a high frequency pickup where antennas are arranged lengthwise to a conductive structure and detecting a high frequency current induced in the structure by a broadcast wave and lowing concentratingly to the structure ride. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic flux generated from the high frequency surface current flowing to the ridge of an iron beam 30 is caught surely by a loop antenna 38 and fed to a receiver via an impedance matching circuit 44. A case 40 shields an external magnetic flux and is so constituted that the current induced in the beam 30 is detected efficiently by a high frequency pickup 28. The case 40 of the high frequency pickup 28 is fixed tightly to the beam 30. The loop antenna 38 is a single winding antenna, insulation film is applied to the coil so that the coil is insulated electrically from the beam 30 and arranged closely while adopting the conductive structure pressed onto the beam 30, then the magnetic flux caused from the surface current is interlinked more strongly with the loop antenna 38.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of the collision of vehicles by adjusting a vehicle height so that a collision energy is efficiently absorbed. SOLUTION: In this device, the image information of the front side rear side of a vehicle is analyzed (S20, 80) to decide whether or not a preceding or following vehicle is present (S30, 90). Upon decision of an affirmation, the outline of another vehicle is specified and the relative speed of another vehicle to a self-vehicle is calculated based on the change speed of the size of the outline of another vehicle (S40, 100). Then, it is decided whether or not a front collision or a rear collision may be highly possibly generated based on the relative speed and the speed of the self-vehicle (S50, 110). Upon decision of an affirmation, the height of a rear bumper or a front bumper is estimated based on the outline of another vehicle (S60, 120). A vehicle height is adjusted so that the front bumper or the rear bumper of the self-vehicle has the height substantially the same as that of the rear bumper or the front bumper of another vehicle (S70, 130).
