摘要： PURPOSE:To cast an oil free twin roll by feeding the Al-Mg alloy molten metal whose Mg contg. amt. is more specified value between specified shall thickness rolls and casting an Al-Mg alloy plate by cooling the molten metal by a roll without coating a lubricant. A solid-liquid coexisting phase exists between the molten metal 5 and casting plate 7. The Al-Mg alloy molten metal is cast by oil free without coating a lubricant on the shell outer peripheral face of the rolls 1, 2. The ununiform cooling due to this coating unevenness is eliminated because of no lubricant being used and the surface defect of the casting plate can thus be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an Al alloy sheet for magnetic disk excellent in plating suitability and reduced in strain by applying hot and cold rollings to an Al alloy containing respectively prescribed amounts of Cu and/or Zn together with Mg, blanking the resulting sheet into a disk blank, and subjecting the disk- shaped sheet to holding at a temp. in the prescribed temp. range and then to cooling at a specific cooling velocity. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy which has a composition containing, by weight, 2-6% Mg and either or both of 0.03-1% Cu and 0.1-2% Zn and further containing, if necessary, 0.05-1.0% Mn and/or 0.03-0.3% Cr is hot-rolled and cold-rolled, and the resulting rolled sheet is formed into disk shape by means of blanking, cutting, etc., and then subjected to stress relief annealing. Subsequently, the disk-shaped Al-alloy sheet after annealing is held at >=280 deg.C, desirably 340-360 deg.C, for 1-10hr, particularly about 2hr, and then cooled down to 120 deg.C at 20-300 deg.C/hr cooling rate. By this method, the Al alloy sheet excellent in surface preparation characteristic and the adhesive strength of a plating film, reduced in strain, and suitable for magnetic disk, optical disk, etc., can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make a high surface strength and a high recording density compat ible with each other by filling a nonmagnetic substance into a hole made in a porous anodic oxidation film formed on the surface of an aluminum base from the bottom of the hole to its halfway and filling the magnetic substance on the nonmagnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of the magnetic substance to obtain a sufficient high recording density is preferably 3mum or below, and the thickness of the anodic oxide film to obtain a sufficient surface strength is preferably 5mum or below. In order to satisfy the both, the nonmagnetic substance 3 is filled to the bottom of the hole 2a made to the thick anodic oxidation film 2 of 5mum or over and the thin magnetic substance 4 of 3mum or below is filled finally onto the substance 3. That is, the existence of the layer of the nonmagnetic substance 3 at the bottom of the hole 2a ensures the thickness of the anodic oxidation film 2 required to obtain the sufficient surface strength and the layer of the thin magnetic substance 4 attaining the high recording density is provided to the upper part of the hole 2a.
