    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rigidity of the overall structure by a reduction in local bending deformation and to improve the safety of the structure by a limit of breakage to a face plate by specifying the interval between an intersection of wavelike ridges at a thickness center line of a core material and a thickness center line of a face plate. SOLUTION: In the corrugated core material sandwich panel comprising two face plates 1 extrusion molded and disposed in parallel and a corrugated core material 2 disposed between the plates 1 and integrally connected to the plates 1, the interval between an intersection of wave-like ridges at a thickness center line of the material 2 and a thickness center line of the plate 1 is set to 1/2 or less of the thickness of the face plate. From a standpoint of dynamics, its offset amount is desirably 0 (mm). It is difficult to always manufacture such a corrugated core material sandwich panel having 0 (mm) of the offset amount due to processability such as of extrusion molding or the like. Incidentally, if the offset amount exceeds 1/2, the rigidity is not improved similarly to a conventional panel.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately discriminate whether a fault at a joining boundary exists on the upper surface side or lower surface side of an inserted material at real time by discriminating the jointed state of the joined boundary from peak values of both (+) and (-) polarity parts of reflected echo waves. CONSTITUTION:When reflected echo waves of ultrasonic waves 7 are used, reflected waves from the boundary between a cemented carbide 4 and upper surface of an inserted material 6 and those from the boundary between the lower surface of the material 6 and steel 5 are superimposed upon another, since joined surfaces where no fault occurs exist between material 6 and cemented carbide 4 and steel 5. When ultrasonic waves 8 are used, the reflected waves basically become the same as the reflected waves obtained when only the cemented carbide 4 exists. In the case of ultrasonic waves 10, the reflected waves are composed of those from the boundary at the upper surface of the material 6 and those from a fault 1, since the fault 11 exists between the material 6 and steel 5. Therefore, when peak values of both (+) and (-) polarity parts are detected from the waveform pattern of reflected waves, whether a fault exists on the upper surface or lower surface of the inserted material can be discriminated at real time.

    • PURPOSE:To improve heat resistant impact by a method wherein a compression initial stress is exerted on a covering member made of ceramics, a heat insulating layer is formed between the covering member and a reinforcing member made of a metal disposed in the covering member, and a compression stress is generated even in a steady state. CONSTITUTION:When a part is applied for a vane part 2 and a stator blade 1 for a gas turbine formed with mounting parts 3 and 3 formed at both ends thereof, the blade part 2 is formed such that a metallic liner 6 serving as a reinforcing member is inserted and situated in a ceramic shell 4 serving as a covering member with a heat insulating layer 5 therebetween. In this case, the shell 4 is compressed and nipped by means of a mounting part 3 so that a compression initial stress is generated under a room temperature state at the shell 4. The heat insulating layer 5 is formed between the shell 4 and the liner 6 so that a temperature difference is produced under a steady using state between the shell 4 and the metallic liner 6. This constitution enables the com pression stress of the shell 4 to be held in a given range by means of a tempera ture difference, a difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion, and a sec tional area ratio between the shell 4 and the liner 6.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the buckling phenomenon caused on a can wall bead part effectively by reducing the load in the axial direction with friction force due to the contact of the inner face of a holding metal die and a storage bead pipe in case of performing a forming in the axial direction for the upper part opening which projects on the holding die of an Al bead can. CONSTITUTION:A can 1 is held by a holding metal die 2 in case of performing a necking on an Al bead can 1 by a necking die 4 for instance. In this case, the straight cylindrical clamp sleeve 5 having the inner diameter conforming to the outer diameter of the bead projecting part 1b of the bead part 1a of the can 1 is stood on the bottom part 2a of the metal die 2 integrally. A sealed pressurized chamber 6 is formed between the sleeve 5 and die 2 to feed pressure air inside the chamber 6. The load in the axial direction in necking is borne with the total surface area of the sleeve 5 by the contact pressure and friction force which is caused between the sleeve 5 and bead part 1b accordingly. Consequently the load to be charged by the projection part 1b is remarkably reduced and the generation of bucklings on the bead part 1a due to the axial direction load of the can 1 can be prevented.
