    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of large chips and to avoid chips getting into a fuel passage to the utmost in a solenoid type fuel injection valve wherein a cylindrical spring receiving member of approximately C-shaped cross section provided with tapered parts at the outer periphery of both axial ends is pressed into a small diameter hole provided in a cylindrical fixed core, adjustably in the axial position.
      SOLUTION: The small diameter hole 51 of the fixed core 22 comprises a press-in hole part 51a with an inner diameter adapted to press in the spring receiving member 27; a coaxial adjusting hole part 51b arranged coaxially with the press-in hole part 51a, with a space behind the press-in hole part 51a; and a communicating hole part 51c made smaller in diameter toward the press-in hole part 51a side and at least partially having tapered portions 51ca, 51cc with the tilt angles to an axis being made smaller than a tilt angle to the axis of the tapered part 27b of the spring receiving member 27, to smoothly connect the press-in hole part 51a and the coaxial adjusting hole part 51b.
