摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit troublesome work in which the attaching position of a brake caliper is changed when a railway rolling stock travels on a route in which the rail distance is difference, in a railway rolling stock capable of changing the wheel distance. SOLUTION: In a railway rolling stock capable of changing the wheel distance, pins 7 for movably supporting a brake caliper 3 for pinching a disk rotor of a wheel 2 in the wheel distance variable range are provided to the vehicle side in the axle direction. At least two pins 7 are arranged in parallel with each other. The pins for floating and supporting the brake caliper are used. The brake caliper 3 is supported to the pins 7 through a bearing. Flexible dust seals 10 for covering the outer peripheries of the pins 7 are provided on both sides of the brake caliper 3.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a sliding characteristic by making a fiber reinforcing composite material formed of an inorganic fiber and an inorganic matrix and orientating a specified percentage of the volume content of the inorganic fiber to the outside of a sliding surface. SOLUTION: A fiber reinforcing composite material is formed by using an inorganic fiber such as a carbon fiber or a ceramic fiber and an inorganic matrix such as carbon or ceramics as constituting elements. By using this fiber reinforcing composite material, a concrete sliding material is made. In this case, at least 1% of the volume content of the inorganic fiber is orientated to the outside of a sliding surface. Normally, a range of 1% to about 30% is preferable. Surface outside orientation means that a fiber is orientated above about 5 deg. and lower than 90 deg. and above -90 deg. and lower than -5 deg.. If this surface outside orientated fiber is lower than 1% range, not stable sliding characteristic is provided. If it is more than this range, no satisfactory strength is provided for the sliding material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device for railway rolling stock which is capable of performing a brake actuation, optionally performing a slip preventing actuation, and which is simple in the constitution, reduced in the number of part items and light in weight. SOLUTION: This brake device is a brake with slip prevention function for railway rolling stock which brakes a wheel 11. The device is provided with a pressure intensifying cylinder 31 generating hydraulics for which pressure intensifying is performed by receiving pneumatic supply from a pneumatic source (air reservoir 6) and a hydraulic brake cylinder 21 driving a brake block 15 by receiving the hydraulic supply from this pressure intensifying cylinder 31. Further, the device is provided with an exhaust valve 49 and a pneumatic supply stop valve 53 quickly reducing pneumatics of the pressure intensifying cylinder 31 and a slip preventing controller detecting the slip of the wheel 11 and controlling the exhaust valve 51. Further, the device is provided with a servo pump 207 supplying hydraulics to the hydraulic cylinder 21.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current decelerating device using a permanent magnet, which is compact, does not need large power and can be used even if a trouble occurs in the feeder system to a rolling stock. SOLUTION: A disk 12 is fitted to an shaft 1 via a boss 11. Bearing units 16a and 16b are fitted to the axle 1 by sandwiching the boss 11. A semicircular stator assembly 17 is detachably fitted to the bearing units 16a and 16b to surround a part of the disk 12. The stator assembly 17 is provided with pole pieces 17a, which are fixed and arranged on the same circumference on both sides sandwiching the disk 12 by leaving a prescribed interval, inner permanent magnet strings 17b, where N poles and S poles are alternately fixed and arranged at positions facing the inner peripheral parts of the pole pieces 17a on the facing side of the disk 12, outer permanent magnet series 17c, where the N poles and the S poles are alternately arranged in positions facing the outer peripheral parts of the pole pieces 17a, so that one pitch of the pole pieces 17a can be rotated and a hydraulic cylinder 17k which causes the outer permanent magnet strings 17c to turn. A copper layer 20 is installed on a surface facing the pole pieces 17a of the disk 12.
