摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the non-destructive inspection of hydrogen erosion by heating an equipment material or forcibly occluding hydrogen in the equipment material and measuring the amt. of the hydrogen released in a specific temp. range. CONSTITUTION:While the equipment material is kept heated, the amt. of the hydrogen released at each temp. is measured directly or after the hydrogen is forcibly occluded therein. The material subjected to the hydrogen erosion produces the peaks in the amt. of the hydrogen to be released according to the degree of the hydrogen erosion in a 300-600 deg.C range and, therefore, the degree of progression of the hydrogen erosion of the equipment material is known by measuring the amt. of the hydrogen released in this temp. range. The generation of the hydrogen erosion with the equipment material to be operated under high-temp. high-pressure hydrogen is, therefore detectable non- destructively in an early period of time.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the residual life of an apparatus by a method wherein the apparatus material with the same history as that of a real machine operation is subjected to an accelerating test over 100hr or more under a temp. and hydrogen partial pressure condition bringing the E-value obtained by a specific formula to a range of 100-200 to inverstigate the reduction quantity of the toughness value of the material and the presence of the generation of a methane gas bubble. CONSTITUTION:The toughness value (charpy impact tester) of an apparatus material piece (dummy material) with the history as that of a real machine operation is measured. Next, with due regard to a real machine operation condition, the temp. T' and hydrogen partial pressure P' of an accelerating test are determined so that the E-value of formula becomes a range of 100-200 and, under this condition, the dummy material is used to perform a hydrogen erosion accelerating test over 100hr or more. Subsequently, the presence of the generation of a methane gas bubble is investigated and the toughness value of the dummy material is measured. From the change quantity of the toughness values before and after the accelerating test and the presence of the generation of the methane gas bubble, the residual life of the apparatus can be estimated.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detect possible generation of a hydrogen corrosion caused in a pressure container and a piping by performing a forcible occlusion of hydrogen from the surface of an equipment material at an electrolytic current density/ electrolyzing time according to a specified electrolyte and the type of steel. CONSTITUTION:A forcible occlusion of hydrogen is performed from the surface of an equipment material by a electrolyte hydrogen charging method. In this case, the density of an electrolytic current varies with the combination of an electrolyte and the type of steel and an electrolyzing time of an electrolyte below 60 deg.C is set at one hour. This allows non-destructive detection of the generation of a hydrogen corrosion in the equipment material of a pressure container, piping and the like applied in a high temperature and high pressure hydrogen environment, thereby preventing an accident caused by degrading in quality.

摘要： An austenitic stainless steel, having a compsn. of austenite stability index Md30 0-80 degrees C, is heat-treated at 750-1150 degrees C subjected to prim. working by >20%, from above the Md30 point and is not >500 degrees C to not below Md30 and 500 degrees C, to sec. working treatment by >30%, and opt. by further tempering at >200 degrees C to below the austenite producing temp. The steel includes 0.15% C, 0.3-2% Si, 0.5-2% Mn, 6-14% Ni, etc. The Md30 is defined by Md30= 551-462 (C+N (C+N) - 9.2S-8.1Mn-29 (Ni+Cu) - 13.7 Cr-18Mo+OxAl-68 (Nb+Ti+Ta) - 1.4 (ASTM austenite grain size = 8). It is the working temp (0 degree C) of the material to transform 50% of its structure to martensite when 30% strain is applied to the material.

摘要： PURPOSE:To generate lattice defects of high density and many types sufficient to perform a gettering effect even in a wafer having low initial oxygen concentration or a wafer externally diffused with oxygen at a high temperature by conducting special first and second steps of heat treating. CONSTITUTION:Lattice defects are generated in an Si wafer by heat treating the wafer. In such a heat treating method, a single crystal Si wafer is heated at a temperature range of 400 to 500 deg.C at least for 5 hours. Then, the wafer is heated at a temperature range of 600 to 700 deg.C at least for 20 hours. Thus, since precipitated nuclei of oxygen are formed in a high density by the heat treating of the first step, the precipitated nuclei can be grown by the heat treating of the second step. Accordingly, the defects can be generated efficiently in a high density even in the wafer having a low initial oxygen concentration or the wafer externally diffused with oxygen.
