    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a corrosive environment is not able to be easily evaluated in a short time, and a problem wherein a corrosive environment is not evaluated precisely because the corrosive environment is difficult to be evaluated in a planned installation place of a steel structure.
      SOLUTION: A corrosive environment sensor 1 comprising a plurality of kinds of metal pieces discolored by corrosion factors in the atmosphere related to corrosion of the steel structure is corroded under the environment same to that in the steel structure, then a surface of the corroded corrosive environment sensor 1 is measured by a color measuring means 12 to prepare a color specification data as to lightness, hue and saturation, and the corrosive environment in the place installed with the steel structure is evaluated thereafter using the color specification data obtained from the corrosive environment sensor, and using a color specification master data prepared preliminarily from corrosive environment master data 11a-11f corroded a concentration by a concentration in every corrosion factor.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently perform automatic painting imparting a uniform film thickness, by a method wherein a running means is allowed to run along the base stand arranged in close vicinity to a part to be painted and paint is leveled by spatula while supplied from a painting apparatus. CONSTITUTION:In performing the submerged painting of a submerged structure or ship, for example, a base stand is provided to the part 4 to be painted extending over the upper and lower parts of the water surface boundary part of a steel sheet pile and a running means 26 is allowed to run along the base stand. A paint supply means 47 for supplying paint to the part 4 to be painted to adhere the same to said part 4 is provided to the running means 26 and the surface of the paint supplied and adhered to the part 4 to be painted is leveled by the spatula 48 arranged behind the part 4 to be painted in the running direction and the paint is pressed to the part 4 to be painted to be strongly adhered thereto. Pref., a follower means 46 for detecting the shape of the part 4 to be painted, a drive means 52 for allowing the spatula 48 to approach and separate, and a film thickness adjusting control means are provided at a position forward from the spatula 48 in the running direction or at the same position as the spatula 48.
