摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to allow the taking off and landing of aircraft at the inflow of high density advection fog at a low operating cost by laying panel heaters radiating far infrared rays on the ground surface near a runway with continuous inflow of advection fog like sea fog. CONSTITUTION:Panel heaters 2 coated with ceramic or paint having a high emissivity are laid out on the surface of ground near a runway 1 with continuous inflow of advection fog. The panel heaters 2 are then set such a way that their temperature is raised by solar heat, geothermal energy, industrial waste heat or combustion heat of waste. When advection fog flows in, far infrared rays are radiated into the fog to raise the temperature of fine water droplets in the fog and to evaporate and dissipate the fog. This enables to remove fog from the runway at a low running cost.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent soil beneath a tank bottom from freezing, by collecting the water in a broken stone layer and heating the collected water, which is circulated to maintain the water level of the broken stove layer at a constant level. CONSTITUTION:Warm water heated by a heater 29 is supplied to a water supply ditch 18, and when the water level reached the top of a weir 17, the warm water starts passing over the weir 17 and flowing into a broken stone layer 15. When the broken stone 16 is heated, the water flows into a water-collecting reservoir 20 and accumulate on the bottom of water-draining pit 21. A water-lifting pump 26 is continuously operated to lift the water accumulated in the pit 21 up to the ground surface, and the water is heated by the heater 29, thereby warmed water is circulated in the broken stone layer 15 maintaining a constant level at all times, and therefore, the broken stone 16 can be maintained at an appropriate temperature to prevent soil beneath the tank bottom from freezing.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide high security for an inwall and other built-up sections by a tank by dispersing injected liquid dashed in an area as near as it can reach the inwall of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A supply pipe 4 extends down from a domed-roof tank 3 of a tank 2, whose lower injection end 4' is enlarged in the shape as at a distance kept before it reaches the bottom end 2' of the tank. The injection end 4'' sprays liquid into relatively cross direction rays, which meet in an area enclosed by the tank inwalls 2', 2''. In operation of the tank 2 the lower injection end 4'' has the liquid sprayed in cross-directions so that burst energy of a dynamic pressure produced by the burst will die due to consumption of impact energy before sprayed liquid reaches the inwalls 2', 2''. The liquid has no inferior effect on the membrane and is stored in the tank.

According to the constitution, the number of the CO2 laser beam oscillation equipments is reduced, the reduction in the cost of equipment, the reduction in the area of equipment and the reduction of the operation cost can be made.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent sliding of an inner tank rationally and improve the safety of a double-shell low-temperature tank by installing the restricting plates which form the equal repulsive force against the horizontal force from any direction under a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:In this aseismatic structure, a number of restricting plates 10 are suspended at a proper intervals between the outside edge of an annular plate 8 and the upper surface of the base plate 9 of an outer tank 2, and the upper end of each restricting plate 10 is fixed onto the outside edge part of the annular plate 8, and the lower end is fixed on the base plate 9 of the outer tank. With such a constitution, if an earthquake arises, and a horizontal force H acts in the direction of arrow, the largest repulsive force is generated on the restricting plate 10 which crosses at right angles with the direction of the horizontal force H and on the axis line which passes the center of the inner tank 1. However, each repulsive force is generated gradually on the restricting plates 10 which are positioned at the right and left, having the restricting plate 10 described above as a center, and the total repulsive force opposes sufficiently the horizontal force H described above.
