    • PURPOSE:To eliminate damage to the cross section of top plate by shortening the setting depth of sheathing materials by a method in which a coping stone serving as guide wall in combination is connected to the top of a sheathing material, the inside of the sheathing material is excavated for an underground continuous wall to the lower end of the top plate, and the top plate is constructed on the head. CONSTITUTION:The ground on both sides of a place where an underground continuous wall is to be constructed is improved while mixing it with a hardener, and sheathing materials 8, e.g., H-steel, etc., are vertically set. Concrete for guide wall 6 in an underground continuous wall construction method is placed up to the height of the excavated face of a top plate 2 in such a way as to bury its head. A coping stone 4 serving as guide wall 6 is provided for the head of the material 3 for connecting and underground continuous wall 1 is constructed to the height of the top plate 2 until a given depth is reached inside of the material 3. The ground surrounded by the material 3 is excavated to the lower end of the top plate, and the top plate 2 is constructed on the wall 1. The needs for shoring strut construction can be eliminated during the excavation of top plate portion, and the construction work can thus be economized.

    • PURPOSE:To exactly support horizontal forces to be applied by a method in which a bearing wall, a form box, and a reinforcing bag cage are set in a trench, the bearing walls on both ends of the form box are connected with tie rods, concrete is placed into the form box, and cover plates are set in front of the excavating direction. CONSTITUTION:A given depth of trench 1 is excavated in the ground, and a form box 2 consisting of a bearing wall 3 and side plates 4 and reinforcing bars 6 are integrally penetrated into the trench 1. The form box 2 is fixed with tie rods 10 through the wall 3 by using nuts 11. Concrete 13 is placed in the rare part of the excavating direction of the box 2, and cover plates 14 are set in front of the excavating direction of the box 2 to close the trench 1. The ground in front is excavated. The underground wall can thus be exactly constructed without causing the displacement of the form box because of support by the tie-rods and can withstand the horizontal forces such as soil pressure, etc.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an artificial bottom slab integrated with the foot-protected portion by a method in which the foot-protected portion is formed by pouring cement mortar through a pipe buried in the continuous underground wall, and cement mortar is placed to the area surrounded by the underground wall through a bored hole. CONSTITUTION:Cement mortar, etc., is poured through a pipe 6 buried in a continuous underground wall 5 from the ground's surface and jetted to just below the wall 5 to form a foot-protected portion 7. Boring is then made in the area surrounded by the wall 5, and cement mortar, etc., is injected through the bore hole 8 to form a bottom slab little by little to much the same level as the foot- protected portion 7. The boring process and the cement mortar pouring process are alternately repeated to widen the area of the bottom slab to obtain an artificial bottom slab 10 integrated with the foot-protected portion 7. Afterwards, a top slab 11 is placed on the underground wall 5 and then a superstructure 12 such as bridge, etc., is constructed on the top slab 11.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the close contact ability and to prevent cracks by building a steel cell in which stud dowels are arranged on the lower inner side surface of a horizontal opening, on the lower structure of a reinforced concrete section, by placing core concrete from the opening, and by applying a tension to a PC steel member. CONSTITUTION:A steel cell 5 is built on the lower structure 13 of reinforced concrete section, reinforcement 14 is arranged along stud dowels 11 using a horizontal opening 9 as an access opening, and then PC steel members 15 is arranged. Further, reinforcement 14' in the reinforced concrete section in the lower structure 13 is connected to reinforcement 14, and the PC steel members 15 are connected to PC steel members 15' in the lower structure 13 through the intermediary of couplers 16. Thereafter, core concrete 17 is placed through the opening 9 after a fixing plate 21 is set below a horizontal plate 10, and after the hardening of the concrete, the PC steel members 15 are applied with a tension so as to give a prestress to the core concrete 17. Further, a plate 18 is laid on the horizontal plate 10 so as to block the opening 9, and then the horizontal plate 10 and the plate 18 are fixed by using bolts 20. Further, a gap at the top of the core concrete section 17 is filled therein with a grout material 19.
