      SOLUTION: The recycling method of the concrete mass consists of pulverizing the concrete mass to particle diameter of under 40 mm, mixing a reduction agent containing calcium sulfite with this pulverized material by a stoichiometric amount required for reducing hexavalent chromium in the pulverized material to trivalent chromium, or more, and using the pulverized material mixed with the reduction agent for the landfill. A desulfurization reaction product mainly containing calcium sulfite, which is by-produced in an exhaust-gas desulfurization apparatus, can be used as the reduction agent.
