摘要： A primary pointing device controls the position of a cursor on a digital screen by means of primary position commands (C1). The primary position commands (C1) are generated by relative movement (D11; D12) between the primary pointing device and a substantially flat external surface, such as a tabletop or mouse pad. The primary pointing device is adapted to dock with a secondary pointing device, which may also control the position of the cursor on the digital screen. Bearing registering user input controls in the secondary pointing device generate secondary position commands (C2), which are fed to the digital processor for causing the cursor to move on the digital screen. Furthermore, the primary pointing device is adapted to dock with the secondary pointing device.

摘要： The invention concerns a portable data input device. The device comprises a holding member designed to be held by or attached to a first hand of a user of the device in order to hold the device onto said first hand. The device comprises a first plurality of input members arranged on the back of the first hand and/or on the sides of the first hand, such that these input members may be easily manipulated by a plurality of fingers of the second hand of the user. The device also comprises a second plurality of input members arranged on the palm-side of the first hand, such that these input members may be easily manipulated by a plurality of fingers of the first hand. With the help of the input members of the device, essentially all the basic symbols of a standard computer keyboard can be generated. The invention also concerns the use of such a device.

The control unit causes the pulse generator to emit heart stimulation pulses with an energy content of the same, or somewhat greater, magnitude than conventional pacemaker pulses for a period of time long enough for the entire heart to become refractory.

Each docking station is adapted to receive the ventilator unit and comprises a communication interface adapted to be connected to a matching interface on the ventilator unit when the ventilator unit is docked in the docking station. The docking stations are arranged at different treatment sites, and the ventilator unit can be moved between different docking stations when necessary without interrupting the treatment of a patient connected to the ventilator unit. The same ventilator unit can be used throughout a complete treatment of a patient without any need of disconnecting the patient during transports, etc.
