摘要： Embodiments of inductive communication devices include first and second galvanically isolated IC die. The first IC die has a first coil proximate to a first surface of the first IC die, and the second IC die has a second coil proximate to a first surface of the second IC die. The first and second IC die are arranged so that the first surfaces of the first and second IC die face each other, and the first coil and the second coil are aligned across a gap between the first and second IC die. One or more dielectric components are positioned within the gap directly between the first and second coils. During operation, a first signal is provided to the first coil, and the first coil converts the signal into a time-varying magnetic field. The magnetic field couples with the second coil, which produces a corresponding second signal.

The dielectric structure is positioned within the gap directly between the first and second coils, and a plurality of conductive structures are positioned in or on the dielectric structure and electrically coupled with the second IC die. The conductive structures include portions configured to function as bond pads, and the bond pads may be coupled to package leads using wirebonds. During operation, signals are conveyed between the IC die through inductive coupling between the coils.

摘要： Connection control circuitry is provided for a User Equipment (UE) configurable to offload communication of packet data from a cellular radio-access network comprising a Trusted Wireless Local Access Network (TWLAN) and a Trusted Wireless Access Gateway (TWAG) with IP Address preservation. The connection control circuitry has a connection requesting module configured to send a distinguishable-connection establishment message to the TWAG, requesting setup of a TWAG-routed data connection comprising at least one of a Packet Data Network (PDN) connection and a Non-Seamless Wireless Offload (NSWO) connection. A unique virtual gateway interface address is used to identify a point-to-point link between the UE and the TWAG. This allows the TWAG to distinguish between multiple substantially simultaneous point-to-point links which support multiple substantially simultaneous packet data connections. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Local policy information and access network selection information can be received from an Access Network Discovery and Selection Function (ANDSF) operating on a server in an evolved packet core (EPC). At least one IP interface on which to route an IP flow using inter access point name routing policies (IARP) can be determined prior to implementing other routing policies. The IP flow from the UE on at least one IP interface selected can be routed using the IARP.

One system comprises a control signaling module in a wireless device that includes a WWAN radio integrated with a WLAN radio. The control signaling module is configured to communicate WWAN control signaling and WLAN control signaling via a WWAN radio connection of the wireless device. A dynamic flow mapping module is configured to form a flow-mapping table to dynamically map service flows between the WWAN radio and the WLAN radio in the wireless device. A flow routing module is configured to route data packets to one of the WWAN radio and the WLAN radio in the wireless device based on the flow-mapping table to transmit and receive the data packets via the wireless device.
