    • A method and a device for the open-loop control of a vehicle hydraulic braking system having an anti-lock braking system, the vehicle having two axles to which wheels are attached and having wheel brakes that are coupled to a pedal-actuated master brake cylinder via hydraulic lines in which valve devices are provided. When the anti-lock system is triggered at at least one wheel of an axle, an active brake-pressure buildup is carried out at the wheel brakes of the other axle in order to attain a fully developed deceleration of the vehicle. The initial pressure between the master brake cylinder and the valve devices is used as the control criterion for the active brake-pressure buildup. In response to the fulfillment of a switch-off condition for the fully developed deceleration, the fully developed deceleration is switched off using a delay ramp.

    • A device is provided for controlling brake lights in a vehicle. The vehicle has a braking system designed for outside force actuation, a control device for controlling the vehicle brakes, and a brake light switch located in the vicinity of a brake pedal, which is connected with a control device for controlling at least one brake light. In order to indicate to following traffic a brake application by active braking intervention in a vehicle, the control unit is connected with the control device and operates the latter such that the brake light, even without actuation of the brake light switch, is activatable under first specified vehicle operating conditions and is deactivatable under second specified vehicle operating conditions.

    • A device for controlling the brake lights in a motor vehicle having a brake system, designed to be operated by outside forces, is described. The device includes a control device for actuating the brakes of the vehicle in such a manner that an automatic braking operation can be carried out as a function of the vehicle operating conditions, and at least one brake lamp which can be actuated by the control device or by a separate control unit. The control device or the control unit may be designed in such a manner that during an automatic braking operation, the brake lamp is switched on below a predefined boundary speed, as a function of a braking pressure determined in the activated brake of the vehicle, or as a function of a parameter correlating to the braking pressure.

    • A method and a device for controlling the brake system of a vehicle, wherein a stand-by phase is made available. The stand-by phase is initiated as soon as the input pressure exceeds a threshold value S1 and the rate of change of input pressure exceeds a third threshold value SB. The third threshold value SB is smaller than a second threshold value S2, which when exceeded immediately changes the braking operation into a full braking support operation.
