    • In a senor for measuring an angular displacement and a method for manufacturing the senor, the sensor includes an optical fiber and a detector. The optical sensor has a light source attached to a first end portion of the optical fiber for emitting light, and an exiting surface formed at a second end portion of the optical fiber. The detector has a photo sensor being attached to an end portion of the detector, for measuring a light's intensity. The exiting surface includes a first inclination surface being cut to have a predetermined angle along a first rotational direction of the optical fiber, and further includes a second inclination surface being cut to have a predetermined angle along a second rotational direction of the optical fiber. Therefore, manufacturing cost may be reduced and durability may be enhanced.

    • In a system and a method for managing of oral care, toothbrushing pattern data is received whenever a user brushes his or her teeth using a toothbrushing correction toothbrush. The received toothbrushing pattern data is recorded in a toothbrushing pattern database. The recorded toothbrushing pattern data is analyzed with reference to information of the user. An adaptability of the user according to the analyzed result is determined. Toothbrushing correction multimedia contents are chosen in response to the determined adaptability. The chosen toothbrushing correction multimedia contents are provided for the user. Thus, toothbrushing habits of the user may be corrected, a timely dental appointment may be made, and dental hygiene equipment may be replaced in time. Further, an oral health-related insurance rate may be accurately calculated.

    • A method for correcting life patterns for providing feedback for an exercise program periodically or in real time is disclosed. The method of the present invention detects a starting point of a dynamic activity interval periodically or in real time by sensing movement of a user in daily life, and provides an exercise program for filling a deficient amount of activity compared to a target value in the detected activity interval when the starting point is detected. Therefore, the method of the present invention may simply provide feedback for an amount of activity of a pertinent interval at an actual starting point of the dynamic activity interval, and thus the user may effectively follow the provided exercise program for correcting life patterns.

    • Disclosed are a toothbrushing pattern analyzing/correcting device, a toothbrushing pattern analyzing/correcting method, a method and a system for interactively correcting toothbrushing behavior. The toothbrushing pattern analyzing/correcting device of the present invention includes: a body part formed in the same direction as a toothbrush surface; a sensing unit having a sensor with at least one or more axes for sensing a user's toothbrushing motion and a sensor with one or more axes for sensing two or more toothbrushing positions; and a controller for operating signals input from the sensing unit to classify a user's toothbrushing motion into at least two or more patterns and at least two or more toothbrushing parts. Further, the toothbrushing pattern analyzing/correcting method includes the steps of: detecting the start of a user's toothbrushing; displaying a guiding screen in response to the start of a user's toothbrushing; detecting a user's toothbrushing pattern; analyzing the user's detected toothbrushing pattern; and providing a toothbrushing correction screen with the intention of increasing compliance in accordance with the analyzed result. Accordingly, toothbrushing behavior correction compliance can be further enhanced with a method of interactively correcting a user's toothbrushing behavior through multimedia image substances in real time, and more systematic management and health consultation are possible by building a database of information of the user's toothbrushing behavior.
