    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning heavy metal polluted soil inexpensively.
      SOLUTION: The method for cleaning heavy metal polluted soil includes the first process (a) for disintegrating heavy metal polluted soil in the minimum particle unit, the second process (b) for classifying the soil disintegrated in the first process at least into two particle groups across a specific particle size, the third process (c) for washing the soils classified into the particle groups by the second process with an acidic solution at every particle group to be separated into soils and the acidic solution by a solid-liquid separator and recycling the recovered acidic solution in the washing of the soil and/or using the same as the acidic solution for washing of another soil and the fourth process (d) for washing the soils washed with the acidic solution with a rinsing solution at every particle group. If necessary, the washing with the acidic solution in the third process is performed with respect to soil set to a predetermined pH region after the addition of the acidic solution and, after the fourth process, the soil is adjusted to a neutral range and hot water is used as the rinsing solution in the fourth process.
