摘要： A display package for retaining product includes a reclosable container having a housing defining a compartment adapted to house product therein and a lid for engaging the housing to close the compartment. The package also includes a display card having a planar main body and being integrally formed to engage and support the container. A tear section is formed in the display card and is adapted to allow for removal of the container from the display card. Once removed from the display card, the reclosable container may be used without the display card to house the product.

摘要： A shipping and display container having packaged product arranged for shipping and display to consumers that minimizes shipping space and manual handling of the individual packages contained therein. The container has side walls and top and bottom walls defining a compartment and a removable section that is affixed to the container during shipment of the packaged product and is removed to provide an opening for displaying product for sale to consumers. The container further includes a plurality of irregular shaped packaged articles each having a display card and a housing for housing one or more products, wherein the housing has a thickness substantially greater than the thickness of the display card. The arrangement includes an upper packaged article offset and supported on a lower packaged article to provide efficient use of container space. The packages may also include a retainer for retaining the upper packaged articles supported on the lower packaged article. According to one embodiment, the retainer includes a pair of raised dimples formed on an upper surface of the housing. According to another embodiment, the housing has a depression formed in a lower surface for engaging the raised dimples. According to a further embodiment, a channel is provided on an upper surface of the housing for engaging a lower end of the upper package.

The landing preferably comprises a magnet for releasably securing product. The dispenser is then used as an inserter for orienting and placing the product in position in a device. The product is not directly handled during its removal from the dispenser or during its insertion into a device. In the case of a zinc air cell, the cell is untabbed without any direct handling of tab material by the user, and the material functioning as a tab stays with the dispenser upon separation from the cell.
