    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground surveying device which is superior in the discrimination of very weak reflected waves from a buried object.
      SOLUTION: The underground surveying device 100 includes a truck 10 which moves on ground surface, a transmitting antenna 11 mounted on the truck 10 which emits a surveying electromagnetic waves, the first and second receiving antennas (12,13) mounted on the truck 10 and separated from the transmitting antenna 11 which receive the reflected waves from the buried object; a buffer memory 21 storing the received signals in both the receiving antennas, respectively; a depth calculation circuit 24 which calculates the depth of the buried object, at least from one memorized received signal; an identification circuit 22 which performs the identification of the buried object of the received signal, based on both the moving direction distance of the truck 10 and the depth, by comparing with both the received signals; a compensation circuit 23 which corrects the truck moving direction errors of both the received signals from the identified buried object by using the depth value; and a combining display circuit 25 which combines both the corrected received signals.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried-object search device, with the measurement accuracy improved in the moving direction.
      SOLUTION: This buried-object search device 100 comprises a transmitter 11, a transmitting antenna 12, a reception antenna 13, and a receiver 14, as component apparatuses related to the transmission/reception of electromagnetic waves for search. Furthermore, the device 100 comprises: a reception data buffer memory 22 for therein storing reception signals acquired by the receiver 14; a sampling circuit 24 for supplying a sampling signal to the buffer memory 22 at each of definite movement distances of the device 100 to fetch in the reception signal at the position; a rotary encoder 18 for detecting the moving amount of the device 100; an interpolation circuit 26 for converting the sampling signals into interpolated sampling signals; and a prediction circuit 28 for predicting and outputting the interpolated sampling signals that correspond to a prescribed division distance from the sampling signals.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried object surveying apparatus that is compatible with a comparatively thick wall and is easily handleable, and surveys the position of a target point provided on the back side being a back plane of a wall or floor, from its near-side surface by using a radar wave. SOLUTION: The buried object surveying apparatus 1 includes a display 2, an operation switch 3, a handle 4 for holding the buried-object surveying apparatus 1, and wheels 5 having a built-in encoder for detecting the position of movement. Moreover, the buried-object surveying apparatus 1 is operated on the near side of the wall, and a V-shaped target 10 is arranged on the back side of the wall. The V-shaped target 10 is a tapelike metal plate which reflects radar waves, and is stuck to the wall so as to stretch right and left at an angle of θ/2 with respect to a perpendicular axis (direction of gravity) passing a target point (point C).
