摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable solid-liquid separation and concentration processing of the sludge generated in a sewage disposal plant, being independent on the nature of the sludge in great quantity and effectively.
SOLUTION: By using the sludge concentration equipment where there are provided a sludge tank 8 reserving the sludge, a filtrating means 15 provided with a filter 18 of endless belt shape revolving between upper and lower rollers 16, 17, in which the lower roller 16 is immersed in the sludge in the sludge tank 8, a washing means of filter cloth 18, a filtrate chamber 11 having a filtrate introducing port 14 and a weir 13 in contact with the filter cloth 18, a sludge distributing tank 23 as a sludge introducing means into the sludge tank 8, which is set near the upper end of a filtrate introducing port 14, and a concentrated sludge discharging tank 25 as a concentrated sludge discharging means from the sludge tank 8, which is set at the position almost confronting the sludge introducing means sandwiching the filter cloth 18, a high polymeric organic flocculating agent is previously added on the mixed sludge in the method for concentrating mixed sludge of a first settled tank sludge and excess sludge.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge concentrating device which can efficiently perform a solid-liquid separation and concentration of a large quantity of sludge produced in a sewage disposal plant without depending on sludge properties.
SOLUTION: The sludge concentrating device comprises: a sludge tank 8 storing sludge; a filtering means 15 having an endless belt filter cloth 18 revolving around upper and lower rollers 16, 17 with at least the lowermost roller 16 immersed in the sludge; a washing means of filter cloth 18; a filtrate chamber 11 having a filtrate inlet 14 close to the filter cloth 18 and a weir 13; a sludge distributing tank 23 serving as a means for introducing sludge into the sludge tank 8 and disposed in the vicinity of the upper end of the filtrate inlet 14; a concentrated sludge discharge tank 25 serving as means for discharging concentrated sludge from the sludge tank 8 and disposed in a position substantially opposed to the sludge introducing means with the filter cloth 18 interposed therebetween; and a rectifier 29 serving as a uniform sludge feeding means for feeding sludge into the sludge tank 8 uniformly widthwise of the filter cloth 18.
