摘要： The present invention relates to control of fungal and oomycete plant pathogens by inhibiting one or more biological functions. The invention provides methods and compositions for such control. By feeding one or more recombinant double stranded RNA molecules provided by the invention to the pathogen, a reduction in disease may be obtained through suppression of gene expression. The invention is also directed to methods for making transgenic plants that express the double stranded RNA molecules, and to particular combinations of transgenic agents for use in protecting plants from pathogen infection.

摘要： The present invention relates to the isolation and characterization of nucleotide sequences encoding novel insecticidal proteins secreted into the extracellular space from Bacillus thuringiensis and related strains. The proteins are isolated from culture supernatants of Bacillus thuringiensis and related strains and display insecticidal activity against coleopteran insects including Colorado potato beetle (Lymantria dispar) and Southern Corn Rootworm (Diabrotica undecempunctata). Insecticidal proteins encoded by nucleotide sequences that hybridize to the isolated and characterized nucleotide sequences are disclosed. Also disclosed are methods of making and using transgenic cells and plants comprising the novel nucleotide sequence of the invention.

摘要： A transmission method is used by a node of a communications network, wherein nodes communicate with one another via a carrier-sense multiple-access channel, said method comprising a step of sending a signal at a given transmit power and a given data rate to a receiver node over the channel, and wherein the transmit power of the sent signal assumes successively a first power value during a first time period and then a second power value during a second time period, the two power values being different and one of them being equal to the given power, the first time period representing the given power and the second time period representing the data rate. The invention also relates to a method of receiving a signal sent by the transmission method enabling the transmit power and the data rate used by the sender node to be deduced from the received signal.

摘要： Systems and methods are disclosed for managing the number of affirmatively associated cache lines related to the different sets of a data cache unit. A tag look-up unit implements two thresholds, which may be configurable thresholds, to manage the number of cache lines related to a given set that store dirty data or are reserved for in-flight read requests. If the number of affirmatively associated cache lines in a given set is equal to a maximum threshold, the tag look-up unit stalls future requests that require an available cache line within that set to be affirmatively associated. To reduce the number of stalled requests, the tag look-up unit transmits a high priority clean notification to a frame buffer logic when the number of affirmatively associated cache lines in a given set approaches the maximum threshold. The frame buffer logic then processes requests associated with that set preemptively.
