    • Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a configuration utility. The systems and methods may include receiving, at the remote terminal unit, a first request for a page. The page may include a link associated with the configuration utility that may be transmitted from the remote terminal unit. The configuration utility may be stored on the remote terminal unit and configured to create, based on user input, a configuration file for the remote terminal unit. Next, a second request corresponding to the link to the configuration utility may be received at the remote terminal unit. The configuration utility may be transmitted from the remote terminal unit, in response to the second request. Moreover, the configuration file may be received at the remote terminal unit. The configuration file may be configured to cause the remote terminal unit to operate in a first manner selected, based upon user input, from a plurality of manners.

    • A transmission method is used by a node of a communications network, wherein nodes communicate with one another via a carrier-sense multiple-access channel, said method comprising a step of sending a signal at a given transmit power and a given data rate to a receiver node over the channel, and wherein the transmit power of the sent signal assumes successively a first power value during a first time period and then a second power value during a second time period, the two power values being different and one of them being equal to the given power, the first time period representing the given power and the second time period representing the data rate. The invention also relates to a method of receiving a signal sent by the transmission method enabling the transmit power and the data rate used by the sender node to be deduced from the received signal.

    • A method for cleaning dirty data in an intermediate cache is disclosed. A dirty data notification, including a memory address and a data class, is transmitted by a level 2 (L2) cache to frame buffer logic when dirty data is stored in the L2 cache. The data classes may include evict first, evict normal and evict last. In one embodiment, data belonging to the evict first data class is raster operations data with little reuse potential. The frame buffer logic uses a notification sorter to organize dirty data notifications, where an entry in the notification sorter stores the DRAM bank page number, a first count of cache lines that have resident dirty data and a second count of cache lines that have resident evict_first dirty data associated with that DRAM bank. The frame buffer logic transmits dirty data associated with an entry when the first count reaches a threshold.
