    • To establish communication between a host and a client, electromagnetic field is generated across coils disposed in the devices. The magnetic field generated across the coil disposed in the host is used to power the client and to transfer data to the client. The data received by the client may, in turn, be used to configure the client. To receive data from the client, the coil disposed in the host is placed in a quiescent data recovery mode. The data to be transmitted from the client to the host generates variations in magnetic field formed across the client's coil. These variation, in turn, form variations in the magnetic field across the coil disposed in the host, and are subsequently decoded by the host to detect the data transmitted from the client. Supporting circuitry in both the host and client convert the electromagnetic variations into a stream of bits.

    • The invention relates to a lock-release method to be applied to biomolecules, such as antibodies, to improve the purification, production, stability and storage of biomolecules. A biomolecule is covalently bound to a polymer support comprising a diketone group so that the biomolecule can be purified, produced and/or stored before being released from the support. The diketone group of the polymer support is a 1,3-ketoester, 1,3-ketothioester or 1,3-ketoamide is a group of Formula (1): R1 is an optionally substituted hydrocarbyl, perhalogenated hydrocarbyl, or a heterocyclyl group; Y is hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbyl, or a heterocyclyl group; X is —O, —NR2 or —S, wherein the free valence of —O, —NR2 or —S is bonded to the support optionally via a linker; and R2 is hydrogen, an optionally substituted hydrocarbyl, or a heterocyclyl group. The invention also relates to a polymer support comprising the diketone group.

    • A marine heat exchanger comprising a housing assembly and a heat exchange core assembly. The housing assembly comprises a process fluid inlet, a process fluid outlet, a coolant inlet and a coolant outlet. The housing assembly defines a process fluid passageway between the process fluid inlet and the process fluid outlet. The heat exchange core assembly comprises a plurality of coolant tubes and a plurality of heat exchange fins. The coolant tubes comprise copper alloy and the heat exchange fins comprise copper. The coolant tubes are joined to the heat exchange fins by cuprobraze joints. The coolant tubes are provides between the coolant inlet and the coolant outlet and define a coolant passageway. At least part of the coolant tubes and at least part of the heat exchange fins extend through the process fluid passageway.
