摘要： The invention relates to heterocyclic substituted amide derivatives that display selective binding to dopamine D3 receptors. In another aspect, the invention relates to a method for treating central nervous system disorders associated with the dopamine D3 receptor activity in a patient in need of such treatment comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of said compounds for alleviation of such disorder. The central nervous system disorders that may be treated with these compounds include Psychotic Disorders, Substance Dependence, Substance Abuse, Dyskinetic Disorders (e.g. Parkinson's Disease, Parkinsonism, Neuroleptic-Induced Tardive Dyskinesia, Gilles de la Tourette Syndrome and Huntington's Disease), Dementia, Anxiety Disorders, Sleep Disorders, Circadian Rhythm Disorders and Mood Disorders. The subject invention is also directed towards processes for the preparation of the compounds described herein as well as methods for making and using the compounds as imaging agents for dopamine D3 receptors.

摘要： A bulk tank cooling and storage apparatus has heat exchange surfaces substantially covering the side and end walls of the tank. The tank is supplied with a horizontal rotating disc liquid distributor which uniformly distributes the liquid in a sheet over the heat exchange surfaces so that it flows downwardly over the surfaces in a thin film and is cooled by heat exchange operating in cooperation with the heat exchange surfaces. Even distribution of the liquid is provided by the rotating disc distributor which expels liquid from the periphery of the rotating disc and propels the liquid against the walls of the tank. Liquid fed into the tank is directed to the center of the rotating disc where a cylindrical dam or well holds a reservoir of the liquid and distributes it on the surface of the disc. The periphery of the disc may have a knife edge which helps the film of liquid to flow off smoothly without atomization.

摘要： An inventory shelf monitoring system includes a plurality of track systems located on at least one shelf of a retail or warehouse establishment. Each track system includes a sensor and actuator that determines the position of a product pusher. The identity and location of the product pusher, for each track system on the shelf, is sent to a data acquisition and transmitter circuit that assembles, formats, and transmits pusher position data to a central receiver. The data is then transmitted to a central processing unit in a user device that maintains data corresponding to product count, availability, and activity associated with each track unit of each shelf employing the system. Inventory control, the prevention of out-of-stock situations, and the assessment of activity indicative of theft or accident is thus monitored in real time for prompt remedial action.

摘要： A method for treating a fluid by providing a raw fluid to a process tank. The raw fluid may be water having varying degrees of contamination or another type of fluid. The method further consists of adding an ion exchange resin to the process tank to form a raw fluid/ion exchange resin mixture. After the fluid has been sufficiently contacted with the ion exchange resin, treated fluid is removed from the process tank through a membrane filter located within the process tank. The method is completed by regenerating the ion exchange resin within the same process tank.

The marks applied or attached to the pieces have to be machine-readable in a sorting station. Marking and reading devices are expensive and produce undesired reading errors. The aim of the invention is therefore to create a method and a device that avoid the aforementioned disadvantages and that allow for a reliable and cost-efficient identification of semifinished products. For this purpose, a first camera is used in an identification station to obtain digitized images of optically visible separating section-specific and strand section-specific surface features on an identification surface and the images are stored in a database. A second camera is used in a sorting station to obtain digitized images of the same identification surface and these images are used in the database for an identification by comparing them with the stored images of the first camera.

摘要： In a spray nozzle, a carrier defines a spray aperture, a groove surrounding the spray aperture for receiving an o-ring, a first locating bore for slidably receiving an orifice plate seated against the o-ring and for aligning the orifice plate with the spray aperture, and a second locating bore for slidably receiving a swirl unit and aligning the swirl unit with the orifice plate and spray aperture. A pair of retaining lugs project inwardly from the carrier a predetermined distance for engaging the upstream end of the swirl unit to thereby retain the swirl unit and orifice plate within the carrier. The swirl unit defines on its peripheral surface a recessed flat which is aligned with the retaining lugs to thereby clear the lugs upon inserting the swirl unit into the carrier. An elongated slot is formed on the upstream end of the swirl unit for receiving a screw driver.
