    • A power manager for mobile applications using location based services. Generally described, the system and method manages power of a wireless device by adjusting the sampling rate of mobile applications that use location based services. In one illustrative embodiment, the power can be managed by establishing a schedule. The schedule can include settings such as a start time, end time, interval, and duration. These settings can be used to establish a window of time whereby multiple location samplings can take place. The schedule can minimize the user's involvement on a continual basis by allowing manual and automatic scheduling. The power manager can include, but is not limited to, three features to provide better power management for the wireless device. These can include scheduling for location sampling, automatic and learned scheduling, and frequency and duration dynamic modification. Through the power manager, the power supply on the wireless device can be maximized.

    • A security sensor apparatus senses movement of an object. The sensor apparatus includes an electronics arrangement having an optical emitter and an optical receiver. The optical receiver has an axis of reception. The optical emitter emits a first beam along an axis of emission in an emission direction. The axis of emission diverges in the emission direction from the axis of reception at an angle of at least two degrees. The electronics arrangement is mounted in association a first surface of the object or a second surface of a structure disposed in opposition to the first surface. A reflector arrangement includes at least one reflective surface and is mounted in association with the other of the first surface and the second surface. The at least one reflective surface receives at least a portion of the first beam and produces a second beam directed at and received by the optical receiver.

    • The Golf Swing Aid Tool is made of durable synthetic material which will not rust or deteriorate, and will withstand the environment that it will be exposed to. The material also makes the Golf Swing Aid Tool light and able to be handled easily by a younger golfer, or whoever decides to use the aid tool. The Golf Ball Extension Arm is made so it can easily be adjusted and locked in place. It is also made so it will slide easily when adjusting for different position with different clubs. The (2) Feet Extension Arms can easily be turned so they can be locked in position and are located so that the golfers will not turn the Arms past 90 degrees. The arm are also made so they can easily be adjusted so they can slide across the Main Body of the Golf Swing Aid Tool and be locked in place without difficulty to the Golfer. Because of the above, when using the golf Swing aid tool the Golfer can easily go from one club to another club without a great difficulty making the Golf Swing aid tool a tool that can teach the Golfer consistency in his or her swing in the back yard of their home or any place the golfer wants to practice their swing. There are (2) patents that have some similarities. These are patent U.S. Pat. No. 6,723,003; Stephen R. Harrell, Rockledge, Fla. and U.S. Pat. No. 5,388,833, Hub W. Goyen, Jr., Scottsdale, Ark. What makes this patent different in its disclosure is that no patents such as this Golf Swing Aid Tool shows the importance of the relationship between the location of the feet, club and the importance of the ball diameter. The significant affects it has on the accuracy and the distance the ball is hit is determine by the combination of these items.

    • A pH sensing bioreaction system is provided. The system includes a bioreaction container having a plastic wall and a pH sensor attached to the plastic wall. The pH sensor includes a sensor body having a flange that is sealingly attached to the plastic wall. The sensor body has a reference electrolyte therein and a first sensing element disposed in the reference electrolyte. The first sensing element is configured to contact both the reference electrolyte and a sample solution inside the bioreaction container. A second sensing element is positionable into an interior of the bioreaction container. The pH sensor has a plurality of configurations that include a booted configuration in which at least one sensing element is isolated from the interior of the bioreaction container, and a service configuration in which the at least one sensing element is fluidically coupled to the interior of the bioreaction container.
