摘要： PURPOSE:To measure weight with high accuracy in an atmosphere of corrosive gas by using an anticorrosive material for a means which detects the displacement of a balance beam and a means which allows the beam to balance itself and putting the both in a sealed container. CONSTITUTION:A sample is placed on a sample dish 14 and the displacement of the balance beam 3 is detected optically by a reflecting mirror part 4 provided to its fulcrum part 5, a projection part 16, and a photodetection part 17; and the beam 3 is balanced by the self-balancing means composed of an enclosed iron core 8 and an electrode coil 9 and the weight of the sample or variation in weight is known from the amount of a current flowed through a coil 9. Further, all members in the measuring container 1A are formed of the anticorrosive materials and the reaction or adsorption of the corrosive gas is measured. Therefore, the corrosive gas need not be purged with inert gas, the need for fine pressure balance is eliminated, and reaction condition is not disordered, so as high-accuracy measurement is taken and this is usable for a TG method, so that numbers of samples are scaled.
