    • PURPOSE:To markedly simplify the setting of a measurement condition by a method wherein the measurement condition is set while the measurement condition and a corresponding spectrum are indicated on an identical screen by means of a setting and indicating means. CONSTITUTION:When a setting means 32 is switched to a setting mode, the means 32 gives a measurement means 12 an instruction to start the collection of interferogram in a measurement condition at that time. On the other hand, the means 32 also gives a display-control means 34 an instruction so that the means 34 stores spectrum data and measurement condition data in a frame memory 20. As a result, the measurement condition and corresponding non- integrated spectrum data are indicated on an identical screen. When the measurement condition is renewed, new spectrum data is successively obtained. When the searching for optimum measurement condition is finished, means 32 gives the means 34 an instruction so that the spectrum data from a fourier-transform means 16 is supplied to an integration means 18. The means 18 successively renews the integration spectrum data in the memory 20 to indicate it on a screen 22.

SOLUTION: The spectrum data inputted to a CPU 16 are inputted to a RAM 18 to be stored temporarily and to be displayed on a display means 20. The pointing device 22 specifies the area as the object of the expansion processing of the displayed spectrum by the cursor. The CPU 16 displays a wire frame model of a three-dimensional coordinate system by the display means 20, and displays the spectrum on the wire frame model based on the spectrum data stored in the RAM 18. and displays a specifies frame indicating the area as the object of the expansion processing on an answering projection surface in similar figures. Then, an image included in the specified frame is expansion processed until the size of the specified frame becomes the size of the corresponding projection surface.

CONSTITUTION:Interferogram is successively sampled by a measuring means 12 and is stored 14 and the read interferogram is subjected to Fourier Transformation and then is converted to spectrum data. Then, the stored spectrum data 17 are read, are processed 18, and then are displayed 24. In this case, processing data are also displayed on a screen for setting operation parameters used by Fourier Transformation 16 and the data processing 18. Namely, the parameter setting screen and processing data display screen are displayed on a same screen, parameters are set 28 by an input means 26 and are displayed 24, thus visually confirming the operation parameter and processing data to be set (changed) simultaneously and improving the efficiency for setting optimum parameters (for example by displaying parameters on the measurement data).
