摘要： PURPOSE:For operating exhaust valves through the reciprocation of a reciprocating piston, to make a construction in which an exhaust passage is provided in parallel to the axis of said reciprocating piston, said exhaust valve is passed through said exhaust passage, and a valve push rod is fitted on the cylinder head facing said exhaust valve. CONSTITUTION:Expansion chambers A and B are formed between the both end portions of the piston 1 reciprocating in a cylinder 2 and a cylinder head. Valve seats 4a and 4b are provided on the both ends of the exhaust passage 4 passed through said piston 1 in parallel to the axis of said piston 1. The exhaust valves 5a and 5b inserted from the both ends of said exhaust passage 4 are combined with each other by a set-screw 7 with a joint 6 provided therebetween so as to have a single structure. When said piston 1 lowers and said exhaust valve 5b comes in contact with a valve push rod 13, said exhaust valve 5b is pushed by said valve push rod 13 to close, and said exhaust valve 5a opens.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce a bearing loss a well as to aim at the promotion of increment in cold quantity generation by constituting a bearing with static pressure air, while operating one side of impellers as an expansion turbine and the other as a compressor respectively, and leading a fluid in an outlet of the latter into an inlet of the former. CONSTITUTION:Process gas, passing through a compressor 16 from a compressor inlet 5 and passing through a turbine inlet valve 18 from the outley nozzle, enters a turbine 19 from an inlet nozzle 1, subjected to adiabatic expansion, and is made to flow out of the outlet nozzle 14. And, energy produced in the turbine 19 is transmitted to the compressor 16, and energy is added to the gas taken in through the compressor inlet 5. the gas added with the energy at the compressor 16 flows into the turbine 19 as it is, and a large cold quantity is generable. In addition, a part of the energy to be transmitted to the compressor 16 from the turbine passes through an inlet 20 as bearing gas and functions s an air bearing for the turbine 19 and the compressor 16, thus the promotion of reduction in a bearing loss is attaiable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To apply a stable load on an expansion turbine and to prevent abnormal increasing of the number of revolutions, by a method wherein, when a generator is forced into a non-load state because of a trouble on the load system of a generator, a load, by which the generator is replaced, is driven with a coupler actuated. CONSTITUTION:Oil in an oil tank 1 flows through a filter 2 and a check valve 3 to boost the oil with the aid of a pump 4a, and is fed to a bearing in an expansion turbine 8 by means of a cooler 6 and a filter 7. The expansion turbine 8 drives an induction generator 10, and the generated power is consumed by a load 11. In which case, when the power of the generator 10 is disconnected occasioned by a trouble on a load system, a shut-off valve 15 at the inlet of the expansion turbine 8 is fully closed, and simultaneously, pumps 4b and 4c are driven through coupling of couplers 16b and 16c. In this case, the generator 10 is forced into a non-load state, the pumps 4b and 4c are forced into a load condition, and this causes absorption of energy of fluid remaining in a piping running between a shut-off part 15 and the expansion turbine 8.
