    • PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting coil having excellent mechanical strength by a method wherein the coil segment, formed by winding a superconducting conductor through an insulating tape on which an epoxy bonding agent is coated on the surface, is stacked through the intermediary of an insulating spacer, a heat treatment is performed thereon in the state wherein compressive force is added from both end faces of the superconducting conductor. CONSTITUTION:Each pancake coil 1 is formed by winding the material 3, obtained by coating an epoxy bonding agent on both surfaces of a polyimide resin tape, in the reguired number of turns on the wide-widthed surface of the superconducting conductor 2 having a plurality of built-in superconducting wires while the material 3 is being adhered temporarily. A plurality of insulated spacers 4 are radially arranged on the substrate 5 of a pressing jig, a pancake coil 1 is placed on one of the spacers 4, and stacking operation is repeated. After the upper plate 6 of the pressing jig has been placed on the insulated spacers 4 located on the top stage, the coil 1 and the insulated spacers 4 are compressed by tightening them until the interval between the substrate 5 and the upper plate 6 becomes the prescribed measurements. When they are heated up under the compressed state, they become hard after the lapse of the prescribed period of time, and the conductor 2 and the insulated tape 3, located in each pancake coil 1, can be adhered firmly and completely.

    • PURPOSE:To directly and exactly measure a temperature of a refrigerant by applying a fluctuation magnetic field to a sensor part which is attached to the inside of a very low temperature use refrigerant supply piping, and detecting an eddy current in the sensor part by a pickup coil. CONSTITUTION:A sensor part 1 in which a metal or a semiconductor whose resistivity is varied sensitively in accordance with a temperature is formed in a cylindrical shape is attached to the inside of a very low temperature use refrigerant supply piping 2 by a supporting member 3 consisting of an electrical and thermal insulator. In such a state, the resistivity of the sensor part 1 is measured by applying a fluctuation magnetic field to the sensor part 1 by a fluctuation magnetic field use coil 5 from the outside of the piping 2, and also, detecting an eddy current which is induced in the sensor part 1 by a pickup coil 4, and a temperature is calculated by a processor. In such a way, it is unnecessary to connect a lead wire to the sensor part, it is unnecessary to install a field-through for the lead wire, and danger of a leakage into a vacuum of a refrigerant does not exist.
