摘要： An electronic control sewing machine which stores stitch control signals in an electronic memory device, and forms stitch patterns, includes a setting device for stitching conditions which comprises, a tenkey which designates reduction or enlargement separately to a selected pattern in a needle amplitude direction and in a fabric feed direction; a switch designating key which switches designating functions of the reduction or enlargement of the tenkey to a designating function in the needle amplitude direction and a designating function in the fabric feed direction; and a pattern data counting device which reduces or enlarges an amount of needle amplitude or an amount of fabric feed with respect to a pattern selected in accordance with designation by combination of the switch designating key and the tenkey; in this way the amount of needle amplitude and the amount of fabric feed can be designated.

摘要： A front operation panel is provided on a housing of an electrically controlled sewing machine, which provides a pattern list indicating a plurality of stitch patterns in a specific pattern group. One of the stitch patterns may be selected in direct reference to the pattern indication and the selected one is represented in a display section in the operational panel. The operational panel comprises a display board having the pattern list and the display section and a transparent cover superposed on the display board which includes a plurality of pressure-sensitive elements to be selectively depressed to designate the pattern indication in the pattern list. The display board may be switched to another information menu which is applicable to input operation of an original stitch pattern by successively inputting needle dropping points which should be enough to define a configuration of the original stitch pattern. The original stitch pattern thus registered may be included in the pattern list, which will now become selectable by depression of the corresponding elements in the transparent cover.

摘要： A safety control device for a speed control circuit of a commutator motor having an ignition circuit includes a circuit for detecting an armature current and defining whether the commutator motor is energized with a supply current or with a free wheel current, a maintaining circuit for discriminating if the detected result is a continuously energized condition or an intermittent condition, and a bistable circuit. The maintaining circuit smoothes the detected voltage of the energized motor and maintains the voltage over at least one cycle of the power source and functions temporarily in an equivalent manner of continuous energization of the motor when power source is applied to the motor. The bistable circuit nullifies the ignition circuit of the motor control when the motor is in an intermittent energization and switches the ignition circuit into an effective condition as the maintaining circuit comes to accumulate the voltage above the predetermined level while no speed designation is made to the speed control circuit of the motor.

When a depressed quantity data is judged to be the prescribed value or above, the start signal of a sewing machine motor 8 is outputted. When the controller 5 is again depressed and the depressed quantity data becomes the prescribed value or above after the depression of the controller 5 is released, the motor stop signal is outputted. When a normal sewing mode is selected, a function switching means 7 outputs the motor speed signal based on the depressed quantity data. When the depressed quantity data is the prescribed value or below, the motor stop signal is outputted.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of an unnecessary stitch by outputting a stop instruction signal and forming a stitch according to stitches formed up to a machine stop, upon disconnecting an external detachable memory in error during the formation of the stitches via the selection of a desired pattern using the aforesaid. CONSTITUTION:A stitch is formed by sequentially reading out coordinate data saved from the detachment positions (Xn, Yn) of an external memory into the memory addresses of R4 to R0 of a stitch coordinate memory means 19, and the stitch data address (PADn-4) of a motor stop position (e.g. Xn-4, Yn-4) is saved and retained. Then, the external memory is again connected, and for the continuity of the same pattern, a value corresponding to the saved stitch data address (PADn-4) is read out from an external stitch data memory means 2. Stitch data is sequentially read out from the aforesaid address, thereby continuing the formation of remaining stitches and completing the pattern. According to the aforesaid construction, an unnecessary stitch due to a stitching number after the separation of the extarnal memory is not formed.

摘要： PURPOSE: To enable a beautiful linking to be carried out by dividing a buttonhole into a portion including most of left and right linking parts and a partial linking portion including a round part, making the amplitude and feeds of left and right linking parts manually adjustable, and making only the feed manually adjustable and the amplitude invariable in the round part. CONSTITUTION: As for the operation order of key hole shaped buttonhole, a first step is composed of a part A from 1 to 27 stitches and a part B from 1' to N' stitches, a second step is from 1" to N" stitches, a third step is composed of a part C from 1 to 26 stitches and a part D from 1' to N' stitches and a fourth step becomes a crosspiece part shown by 1 to 15 stitches. When it is desired to control the width of the buttonhole, by operating a key for amplitude control, only the parts B and C in the first and third steps and amplitude in the fourth step are controlled to be reduced or expanded but the parts A and C in the first and third steps and stitch data in the second step are transmitted to an amplitude stepping motor 5 as stored in a storage device without being corrected, and since the amplitude is controlled on the side of fixed and flat hem and an arcuate part is not changed at all, the key hole shape can be prevented from being crushed.
