摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power cable connecting part reduced in a risk that fixing metal fittings for fixing the power cable connecting part may be broken at a ground fault.SOLUTION: In the power cable connecting part, protection cases 14a, 14b which cover a body 13 of the power cable connecting part are gripped by the fixing metal fittings 4, a break position control groove 31 which controls a position in the circumferential direction in which the protection cases are broken at a rise of the internal pressure of the protection cases is formed in the axial direction of the protection cases at a part in the circumferential direction of the protection cases, the protection cases 14a, 14b are gripped by the fixing metal fittings 4 in a position outside the axial direction rather than an end position S of an external semiconductor layer 1c of a power cable in the axial direction.

SOLUTION: A flange 28a is formed at a grease retaining hardware 28, and a stopper 27 is provided below a fitting flange 18 through a pedestal 26. The stopper 27 prevents the grease retaining hardware 28 from shifting downward in vertical direction before reaching a prescribed internal pressure of the insulator, and shifts the grease retaining hardware 28 downward in vertical direction for releasing the internal pressure of the insulator when the interior of the insulator reaches a prescribed internal pressure.
