    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for metallic material with which the temperature distribution in a treating chamber is uniformized and also, the flowing of impure gas into the treating chamber can effectively be restrained.
      SOLUTION: In the heat treatment apparatus for metallic material, a workpiece is deep-cooling-treated by spray-supplying liquid-nitrogen supplied from a liquid-nitrogen storing vessel into a treating-chamber (1) accommodating the workpiece (W), and the workpiece (W) finishing the deep-cooling treatment is tempering-treated under non-oxygen atmosphere. A fan (2) is disposed in the treating-chamber (1), and a fan-driving shaft (13) of the fan (2) is introduced to out of the wall surface from the wall surface of the treating chamber (1) and linked with a driving device (3). A bearing (21) pivotally supporting this fan-driving shaft (13) so as to be relatively rotatable, is fitted to the wall of the treating-chamber (1) through an interposing member (23), and inert gas passages (25) (26) for spouting the inert gas are formed in the interposing member (23) at inserting gap with the fan-driving shaft (13) generated in the interposing member (23).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a cooling unit smaller and simpler, achieve a more accurate temperature control for precooling and realize an easier method of control.
      SOLUTION: The method of control for precooling of casting concrete comprises pouring ready-mixed concrete into the drum 2 of the truck agitator 1, spraying a liquified gas through liquified gas spray nozzle 3 in the drum 2 while agitating, calculating the relationship between the temperature drop of the ready-mixed concrete and the amount of the sprayed liquified gas by adjusting the amount of the spray, setting the surface temperature detection spots 4, 4, ... on more than one spots on the surface of the drum 2 for detecting the temperatures corresponding to the temperature of the ready-mixed concrete in the drum 2 to enable a convertive determination of the temperature of the ready-mixed concrete from the surface temperatures of the surface temperature detection spots 4, 4, ... measured by non-contact thermometers and controlling the amount of the liquified gas sprayed into the drum 2 from the calculated values and the measured values of the surface temperatures to obtain a desired precooling temperature.
