SOLUTION: The connector includes a housing (11), a plurality of contacts (21) attached to the housing, and further, in case an FFC/FPC is inserted from an opening part of a connector (10), each of the plurality of contacts contains a contact part (28) in electric contact with a corresponding electrode pad of the FFC/FPC. The connector is arranged on an upper part of the housing, and includes a slider (12) attached in free movement along a guide part (13) of the housing. Furthermore, the slider is engaged with an engagement part (31) formed on each of the plurality of contacts. By moving the slider upward, an opening part is enlarged with the move of the contacting part of the contact upward through the engagement part, and by moving the slider downward, the contacting part is brought into electric contact with the electrode pad of the FFC/FPC, respectively, by pressing the contacting part downward.
